I see the same thing in the ATL metro area. Plenty of current or former nba players have homes here....and the Hawks still suck lol.
LOL. Ya buddy. @Snow Villiers is one of the few people id be down to chill with here. unfortunately, i hardly ever go back to houston. it's diego-vegas-tahoe and soon to be denver-vegas-tahoe. SIL
Surprised cp3 chose the woodlands honestly. It's an okay area but it's very suburban and boring. I'd live in River Oaks or Memorial
Avery Johnson, or Torrie Wilson would of been CP3's neighbor had they stayed. A lot of times when AJ was coaching with the Mavs, he would drive to Conroe to fly and drive to Dallas. I believe CP3 will be doing the same to go do promotions or whatever he needs to go. The Woods is good for CP3 especially with kids (parks and places to play). CP3 picked the right area while Adrian Peterson picked the wrong area (near Spring Creek- flood) who just slashed the price of his house at least 25%. CP3 bought at the right time, the Woods pricing is not as strong as before I live in The Woods, commute is not that bad during rush hour. I can go to UH main campus in around 45 minutes driving the speed limit (which I usually do). If I drive like a maniac cut people off and drive like it is stolen, I probaly can get there in 30 minutes under. Whenever they build the Hardy that extends to downtown, it is going to be even faster commute.
I see I prefer Apple maps or google maps. Haven’t used mapquest in ages probably since 2005. I see thank you, I imagined Springs was more like Calabasas, Santa Monica or Bel Air. Santa Clarita is kinda bad and far.
Hell no, if you live in river oaks send your kids to Lamar. I remember when I went to Lamar all the St. John’s memorial Kincaid kids were druggies and wannabe gangsters. Girls were cute tho.
We also got into some top schools. Depends which crew you rolled with. The most reckless were Memorial and Episcopal. In St John's and kinkaid, it wasnt that bad. You also got exposure to some top people. My crew all are doing well. SIL
But why tough it out when you don't have to? Woodlands into downtown is 45min and during rush hour, much longer than that. As others have pointed out, if I were in the 8M range for a home, I'd wall myself off in Inner River Oaks and send the kids to St. John's where they'll be rubbing elbows with the children of CEO's and other people who will help them nepotize their way through life. Maybe he has a deal where he gets to helicopter into Toyota Center...
wait, watt's girl lives in the woodlands? doesn't he live in like pearland? that's a pretty far drive if true.
