Honestly if we were able to trade Harden for Paul george and Melo while including Anderson I'd jump on if we were able to add Lebron next summer otherwise ain't much out there.

On the bright side, the Rockets can't play much worse than this stretch.

Players will heal. We will get back to full strength. My biggest concern is the chemistry. No one can really know whats going on in the locker room. A 5 game losing streak to me is serious if you have title aspirations 2-3 games happen. Not 5. Something is wrong somewhere when you lose 5 straight and can lead to locker room issues. Hopefully if there are grievances they are aired and worked through or I am worried we are looking at 15/16 from this point forward at which point Paul moves on and we can only hope he does a sign and trade so we can at least get some pieces back. Hopefully I am wrong. Hopefully we tear the Lakers apart tomorrow for starting this sh*tshow.

PJ Tucker is an offensive liability. He has become the Rockets Roberson lately.

I know these past stretch of games have been bad. Even still this are good numbers to have.

9-4 against .500+ teams is a goood thing. That’s a 69% winning percentage against top teams and playoff contenders. Extrapolated for 82 games and that’s a 56-57 win team. That is impressive

16-5 against sub .500 teams is good as well. That’s a 76% winning percentage against bad teams. Extrapolated for 82 games and that’s a 62 win season. Also impressive.

Overall we are 25-9 still. That’s a winning percentage of 73.5% which is really freaking good. Extrapolated for 82 games and we are currently on pace for a 60 win season. That would be awesome.

Sure it would have been nice to win 3 out of the 5 losses and be at 82% win percentage but that’s not the case and at some point this season we were bound to hit a rough patch.

Take a second to read this next part.

The Rockets have lost 5 in a row yet find themselves as the 2nd best record in the NBA and only 2 games back from the 1st seed.

The season is long and no one should have expected us to continue playing at the 86% winning percentage we were playing at before this 5 game streak began. There was no way we were gonna continue playing at a 70-71 win pace.

5 games is 5 games but we could have easily won 4 out of that 5. It would be really concerning if we were getting blown out.

Well yesterday was a blowout, but yes they were mostly close losses. Boston and OKC are very good too.

If healthy they probably don't lose all 5, though the defense and offensive stagnation at the end are concerning

Yesterday we didn't have one legit center on the roster and to me CP3 wasn't 100 percent. I know nobody wants to hear excuses but that's just what i see out there. No Capela or Nene playing is too much.

He's (Brewer's Goat) just a troll on this forum.
Sure, some of the points he makes may be legitimate. But when you hear these same complaints
during a 14 game winning streak, during losses, during off days and during the during the offseason
and every day of every week, it's pretty obvious that he needs to root for another team.

We're still at the top of the West WITH James Harden. Many of the games we've won this season were BECAUSE OF James Harden.
But it's nothing but whine, whine, whine, whine, whine with this guy
EVERYBODY gets frustrated during a losing streak. But THIS guy complains about Harden even when we are winning.
He seems to think we win IN SPITE OF Harden. Like we're having to 'put up with' one of the top scorers and top facilitators in the league.

He complains continually about Harden and makes this whole forum a negative place.
It's easy to say 'dump Harden', but who do we replace him with to improve our team?
This Brewer's Goat is a whiner who only wants to whine and cowers when asked to provide any suggestions on how to improve.
If you have a player who has some major strengths and a few weaknesses and yet moving him makes your team even WEAKER
then you probably want to make the best of what you have.

Let's not try to defend this guy and all of the other whiners. This forum gets to be annoying with so many trolls like Goat.
Fans are here to have fun and most of us do. But trolls only try and stir things up and create arguments.

The fact that he refuses to list any changes that would actually help the team is proof positive
that he's only here to stir things up and try and get TRUE Rockets fans angered with our star player and each other.

Sorry but you can't be extrapolating everything....we were playing GSW once. Teams we did not play much against.

    Winter is coming!

It's the old dilemma, we were playing like there is no tomorrow and then we play at a lower level when we feel the fatigue.

If you think that this 5 G losing streak is an anomaly, then I'd be glad telling you that we were playing out of our minds in the winning streak beforehand.

    Aint sustenainable.

We are like a joke without a real center, but I'm not laughing. We have a huge gap on offense and defense without Clint. Harden, Paul, and Gordon, just can't do enough on their own to win games. Without both Paul and Clint in the game this team has proved they can be beaten easily. Without another legit durable center on the bench we are relying on being lucky and injury free to even have a chance in the playoffs. Why?

I'm not even close to panicking. This team will get healthy and back in synch. Morey will add some bench rotation insurance.

Get back on track starts on new years night vs Lakers. Go from there.
