Our bench isnt 10 deep and it's freaking people out come playoffs with the Spurs and Warriors. I don't mind running garbage players at the expense of a couple games if it means our core 5 doesn't avg 33+ minutes even during blowouts. We might or might not have beaten the Spurs with a full tank, but having C grade scrubs rise up for game 6 wasn't a shock for them. If the tables were turned, it would be a shock for us... even when we overrate our bench. These "historic" stats are meaningless. Chemistry with 7.5 man rotation might be great but gassing out is another equally important factor to a long season plus a fairly long post season. It's the most frustrating "old school" aspect of our head coaches starting with JVG when none of them tried developing people like Rudy did out of necessity.
