Harden is dumb, lazy and inmature, and he has terrible habits. But REFUSE to free D'Antoni on his part of responsability at this loss.
He is also dumb, short minded and was ridiculously outcoached at 2nd half.

Why putting Weber on the game if not to bring up the ball and play for Harden/Gordon off the ball? Why didnt we use Harden in the low post at the 2nd half like we succesfully did at the 1st half? Why do we end playing only 1on1s while it's obvious that we needed something else?

Why don't you sub Harden when he commits 3 straight TOs at the 3rd quarter and is visibly tired? "Because its written in the gameplan that he doesn't sit until the 4th."

We have a dumb coach with a dumb ex-leader. Our only hope is the current and new leader Chris Paul. We are very fortunate to have him.

 

Im just as heated as the rest of us but guys think, we’re losing close games starting a 35 year old at center, the best pg of our generation sitting out, and one of our key wing defenders out, our starting center who accounts for at least 10 and 10 a night out. When they return, its hell on the rest of the league. Never lose faith

For Christ’s sakes can we get the walking wounded Paul, Capela, and Luc back ASAP!?

We lost the previous 3 games because of **** defense and we lost this one because of **** defense in the second half.

Everyone can whine about the refs and Harden but we’ve been losing because we’ve been missing great defenders and we are gassed and the rest of the guys can’t pick up the effort defensively.

Smart was flopping hard but Harden fell for that twice. Stop extending your arm and make a damn cut

No excuse for the refs gifting Boston the win? For rewarding Smart for his flopping?
I dont' care if they were up by 20, 30 or 50.
The final result was altered by Tony Brothers and that's a FACT.

 

This is why I'm wondering why people hear are placing the blame solely on James. He played bad in the second half but that foul by Brothers gave the game to the Celtics. I'm tired of watching these fixed games. We had the game won. Some of the people here blaming james didn't watch the game. I saw someone in this thread mentioned he sucked it up in his free meek mill shoes(Which he didn't even wear). smh

 

since curry went out, GS has gotten every possible bs call in every 4th Q to date

 

no way the celtics should have had more energy in the 2nd half against a rested rockets coming off a back to back.

these have been some horrible losses.

i'd rather just get blown the **** out.

 

Harden should be suspended one game for his idiot push.

Injuries are obviously a factor - no Capela means free layups for the other team whenever they want them - but the game turned in the 3rd when Harden started driving in and begging for free throws. Refs swallowed the whistles and Boston started gaining momentum. The Rockets are reverting to a lot of bad habits. Harden getting mentally taken out of games, Anderson apparently forgetting he's paid to shoot, unforced turnovers, etc.

Harden needs to be smarter and the team needs to realize that having a cold war against the refs can only end badly for the team. They're not going to change, so come up with a plan for when the whistles stop blowing.

 

Yeah, people are overreacting.

Rockets lost a bunch of games by 2-5 or so points. 4 game losing streak , Like a 20 point difference between ALL the games. That's CP3 and Capela right there. They need to get back, if they are at no risk of further injury they need to just nut up and play.

 

Harden has a target on his back and that's not fair to him. He's not the one who called all of those fouls over the years. He didn't write the rules he exploited. He made the league and it's rules his b**** and now they league is doing a severe over correction. It's not right because it was their fault he broke their league and now it's their fault he's being targeted.

 

You people need to lay off Harden and learn to manage your expectations.

He is the sole reason why this team is relevant, why Paul is here, and why we are in the discussion.

First off, we are playing 6 NBA players right now. Six. And they aren't exactly a talented bunch. Relying on Weber, Black and Green for 40 minutes of play is a disaster waiting to happen and it did happen. This isn't the 2017-2018 Rockets, this was the 2017-2018 Rockets minus CP3, Capela and Moute. We are playing Tucker at center for **** sake.

Second off, the NBA game is highly impacted by officiating. Don't give me bullshit about being able to overcome it. Officiating is everything. If you are going to set the tone and not call fouls, that's fine, do it, but then don't turn around and call bullshit push off fouls at the end of the game.

Let's look at this exact same scenario last year with the exact same teams. Same players, same flops, no calls, different outcome. OFFICIATING ****ING MATTERS.

 

Time to just realize you can't ever think the Rockets will close out a game. With the way they play offense down the stretch, they will blow any lead against a good team.

 

Smart has a rep in this league for being a flopper, anyone with an IQ like a fifth grader will know you can get a call against him if you will at least try to move your feet and even you will crush him to the floor.

Of course, we got Harden.
