man effing injuries.... I hope this doesn't end up like the 2008 season. That was the last year I truly felt like the Rockets could win it all.
We'll see how it all plays out, but these injuries are becoming quite a concern.

I don't get why D'Antoni doesn't play more players or intentionally rest players throughout the course of the season. Harden is the man and all, but he really needs to get with the program and take some games off here and there since he's the last player we need injured....I also don't think CP3 should be playing any back to backs

Once again, Bell is seeing more and more rotation minutes as the Warriors go long, sacrifice some early wins, to get him up to speed. It's already obvious he's a defensive difference maker.

I expect that by the time the playoffs come around that Bell and Draymond will be playing somewhere around 90-100% of the center minutes as long as they are healthy.

Our little third playmaker, Frank Mason, is riding the bench in Sacramento. He would be ideal here learning the nuances from CP3 and would be getting valuable minutes right now. We had plenty of opportunity to acquire one or both of these guys and have a couple nice rotation pieces getting early quality minutes here while owning them dirt cheap for 3 more seasons.

It is time to give Onuaku a look. And it is definitely time to see how Qi looks with the starters. We've got Qi locked up for four seasons. Run him out there at the 5 and see what we got. Can't be worse than Nene and Black right now. And we need to know if Onuaku can give us anything in a backup role that would be better than Nene/Black.

As I stated previously our weakness that could prevent us from being a champion team this season revolves around the defensive paint. When you combine our defensive weak middle with seeing what the Warriors are doing in the defensive paint with Green and now Bell and Durant you have to see we need more then a PnR finisher at the 5. We've gotta get that that guy that can shoot the three in order to get the offensive paint to open up. Because with any two of the Warriors three big man defenders (Green, Durant, Bell) being in the game for the entire 48 minutes, they have the quickness and length to water down a simple PnR offense.

Our center has to be able to shoot the three to beat a healthy Warriors team....in addition to being a dominant paint defender.

We don’t play our bench enough to develop them. Time to panic

If Brynn Forbes and Jonathan Simmons and Brandon Paul and Davis Bertans and whoever else the Spurs randomly have at the end of their rotation were on the Rockets instead of the Spurs, you'd say the same thing. If they had Rockets uniforms on, you'd think they were worthless.

Hence...they are on the Spurs, and allowed to develop/play/gain confidence, and they provide depth because of it.

For F SAKE. Who the hell broke the mirror, opened the umbrella inside, danced under a latter or crapped on a rabbit's foot. This sh*t is getting so irritatingly old. It is like death by a 1000 paper cuts. Yea I know we have not suffered a BIG one, but these little piss ant four and five game, two and three weeks. will do just enough damage to f*** us. it will lead to some losses that may cost us home court which would be very beneficial and also lead to overuse of key players. Hell at the end of the season our key players logging so many minutes will be getting up and down the court like this:

but look at who they still had on the team......the Spurs team is loaded with experience to counter that.

Same with the Warriors, Durant is still there, Klay Thompson as well. We have 2 Superstars and then...........try and get hope if they fall down.

but those 2 teams can cover them with their star players. Just quietly, the Warriors have 6 All Stars on their roster. The Spurs have 5 All Stars.......we have 2

I hear you I just don’t see anybody at the end of our bench capable.

You're right no one would care . Except , Dantoni never gives anyone else time and our main players get worn down from over use

All of you complaining about " we have no talent at the end of our bench " need to remember 14-15 .

The same ( less experienced ) Tarik black played productive minutes for us .

Others included : Joey Dorsey , Kostas papanikolau , nick Johnson , fransisco Garcia , and Isaiah caanan .

Those absolute scrubs played and they helped us win games . With hustle and by giving our others guys a break .

Yet here Mike has a more mature Tarick black and he won't give him a look past 5 minutes .

If Kevin ****ing mchale could play those guys and win ( due to the greatness of harden ) then Mike D can let those guys play with harden and win games . Sure we aren't gonna beat really good teams with our main guys out ... But we sure as **** could've beaten the lakers and clippers .

I wouldn't blame Mike, Dan, or Tony. I think his offense is very complex, relies on intelligence of players to "read" the play, and Black looks like a complete idiot when he's on the floor. He's always in the way, his picks are weak, he sticks when he should roll, he rolls when he should stick, I mean he can't do wrong right it seems.

McHale doesn't really have a system so he just plays whoever plays the hardest. Mike D is just too stubborn with his system, so if they don't fit his mold, he won't play them.

We really need a Mchale right now to play everyone and clap really hard
