Because Pop has a system & he develops these players.

Who the hell is... Davis Bertans? Matt Costello? Bryn Forbes? Brandon Paul? Derrick White?

Is Brandon Paul Cliff Paul's brother? Oh, he's a developing rotational player for the Spurs!?

Rockets, just trade that late first round pick! Who cares? It'll be 25 or later, who cares?! We don't need it! Spurs, of course, make a living down there.

Dejounte Murray, Kyle Anderson, Cory Joseph, DeJuan Blair(2nd rd), George Hill, Goran Dragic(2nd rd), Tiago Splitter, Ian Mahinmni, Beno Udrih, Leandro Barbosa, Luis Scola(2nd rd), Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili(2nd rd).

    And the Warriors?

    Jordan Bell(well known around here)

But who the hell is...Chris Boucher? Quin Cook? Damian Jones? Kevon Looney? Pat McCaw? Oh, Pat McCaw, the guy the Warriors took one pick after the Rockets took Chinanu Onuaku.

    Festus Ezeli
    Draymond Green (2nd rd)
(didn't draft any of the following)
    Justin Holiday
    James Michael McAdoo
    Ian Clark

Last player the Rockets developed besides Clint? Chandler Parsons? Aaron Brooks before him?

And Clint was an accident. Remember, Rockets wanted to stash him overseas and Clint kind of bullied his way onto the roster.

How could you forget about Carl Landry and Chase Budinger!

This sucks. Goodbye shot at #1 seed.

Capela is always hurt. Plus he's hitting 1/2 his free throws down the stretch of games

I hope he gets and stays healthy-if not we are fuked

Adelman would develop some young players only when they fit his style of play. He was actually pretty stubborn in this way too. He had a fetish for certain players and would stubbornly play them no matter what. Actually thinking about it now, he actually gave Von Wafer a significant amount of play time when Tmac was out that season, but they eventually bumped heads.

I still remember when he made Minnesota sign K Mart and Bud. Also Brad Miller lol..

You don't think the Spurs have liabilities? You think all their guys are instantly good the moment they put on a uniform? lmao

They're allowed to play through mistakes and gain experience/confidence.

    not sure if serious.

GSW has had loads of players out.
Spurs have had many players out with injuries or just resting them.

They do(or did) have some guys out but it's also but not running your guys into the ground.

Tony was out, Kawhi was out, Danny, Pau, Manu get rest days.
Curry is out, Draymond was out, Zaza is out, Livingston & Iguodala get rest days.

Man we're just getting crushed with injuries to our three most important defensive players.

We talk about ohh this team has no depth?

That's kind of true but also not really.

If any team outside of the warriors are missing there 2nd and 3rd best players who happen to be there 2 best players in terms of playing both sides and also missing there best wing defender and guy who closes games out and plays 25+ minutes a night.

    Your going to struggle.

It's hard to make up for losing 3 rotation guys at the same time especially when 2 of them are starters who happen to be elite defenders.

When you got a team that is this strong from 1-8 than the last 4 guys are not going to be that strong.

Only thing I agree on is it would be nice if we hadn't traded all our late first round picks the last few seasons.

We could really use a guy right now who was drafted in the Late first who could fill in and play 15-20 min a night when called upon.

Like a young pj tucker or LMBM

Those guys can be found in the later part of the first or early second.

I say we rest capela, cp3 and luc for as long as needed. let them heal to 100%. it's ok to lose a few games in December. We need everyone to be healthy comes playoff time

I mean....this sounds good in theory...until you realize that this would almost certainly mean dropping to the 3 or the 4 seed, while also guaranteeing that Ariza, Harden, or one of the other guys playing 40+ minutes a night is going to go down with an injury because we're overworking them to make up for half the rotation being held out for rest.

This all comes back to D'Antoni not learning a thing from last season, which is disappointing.

i mean it's still ok if we lose homecourt in the playoff, it's not like we have any advantage if we play at home anyway( record shows that)....agree on Mike D's overworking our main guys..
