    I like the kid.
    He hustled. He tries.

He gotta improve and playing is the only way.

    but first.

HE GOT TO SHOOT THE DAMN BALL!!!

On offense he passed up shot after shot
He has no confidence in his shot
at all..... He was our Robertson
    This team cannot afford that.....

I am not saying he will be a star
    but
If this is what we got ..... he got to do better

he's only playing because we have no other option. i'm not worried because once we get cp3 back, we'll be fine.

I understand but I think he should get 5 minutes a game going forward
    3 with Com
    2 with Harden

    he has to get better

I think Chi needs some of that too

we have to prep them for the future
    and potential other injuries

i like him too. his handles are good too. so at least he can bring the ball up without turning it over it seems. He's like a low 30 percent 3 point shooter, so unless he's wide open, i'm OK with him passing up the shot until he improves his shooting. Beverley couldn't shoot either when we got him.

I like that he has a decent BBIQ and isn't a complete liability.

HOWEVER - you're absolutely right, and I've been thinking the same thing. This team can't have a player who passes up open shots.

(I'm also looking at you, Ryan Anderson.)

MDA needs to give him 4, 5 real minutes even if we have full squad.

As long as you hustle, CF is probably going to like you.

Agreed with everyone else though. You simply can't pass up wide open 3's on this team.

For the sake of developing young guys which means sacrifice a lead at times.

    this

since when did we have Briante? MDA should have gave him Brown's garbage minutes to develop him

we need a 4th guard either we develop ones we have have or we get one

this 8-man rotation aint goin nowhere thru out 110 reg season and playoff games

I don't see his effect being positive toward winning games.

They shoud've put "Prerogative" in last night! At the very least he won't pass up an open shot, any shot really.... Darn you Deetoony!!!

(P.S.) I agree with River, that kid has no confidence in his shot!

I disagree that kid doesn't belong on this team period I don't like his game at all he was a big liability for us nobody guards him his jumper is weak his driving is weak the kid is just not good he belongs overseas somewhere not here in Houston

Yeah you guys spend too much time fantasizing which superstar will come here next summer, instead of watching the actual game of basketball. Every young player is not gonna come in & play lights out. What you want is a young guy to come in with high energy, focus & decent basketball IQ. I see all of that in Weber. His shot needs work. But he hustles & defends, and looks like he's constantly communicating with guys like Ariza. He's a guy I hope we keep to develop for the future

Weber is a good player. I’ve watched him since his VCU days. He’s always been a great defender and an okay offensive player. He reminds me of a more athletic Beverly. He’s smart, makes the right plays and hustles on every play. He’s going to be good for us in the PO, mark my words. I do see HOU however making a minor trade to shore up the bench scoring, someone like a Saric or Ilyasova.

He deserves a shot to improve and grow, but the Rockets need players that can help them now. I suspect he won't be on the team after the trade deadline.

for now while cp3s injured the choice is him, brown or jackson.. even one of them needs 5 to 10 mins per game instead one of our 3 main guards get injured again
