That could be a possibility who knows. Just looking more and more like a huge **** up by the organization at this point.
I think we should try and trade him for Bellineli and Ilyasova might have to give up that Memphis second round and throw in Troy and Black. Yeah Anderson is definitely holding us back from greatness.
I'd rather have Kanter than Ryno at this point. They both suck in the playoffs because of their defense but at least Kanter will give you great rebounding and paint presence offensively. Kanter just put up 30/20 game today too.
Ryno has to go but nobody wants him. It will be especially hard to trade him during the season. Rockets are stuck.
First of all I already said Anderson is not as good as he was in NO. 16 pts>12 pts, that is pretty clean cut right? Anderson does have higher efficiency, but like I said higher efficiency is what would happen when he is now playing with Harden and 3 other 3 pt shooters at all times. His higher efficiency is EXPECTED, so if Anderson was as good as he was in NO he would still score 16 pts on higher efficiency. I mean if he did the same effort as the year before he would score the same amount of pts, but at a higher clip with Harden's help. Next lets talk about character. You think Anderson has no problems with his character but I do, specifically Anderson has a timid and frail character. In short he is a mental midget. Anderson's problem isn't that he is limited physically, everybody knew that. What about when he just shoots 4 times a game despite playing for 30 mins? Can't he be blamed for that? A 1 dimensional shooter who shoots just 4 times a night is useless. What about his road/home splits? Thats just ridiculous and has no logical reason other than anderson being weak mentally. How athletic are Chuck Hayes, Shane Battier and Bruce Bowen again? I bet Anderson is more athletic than all of them but somehow those guys are defensive aces but Anderson is a defensive liability. That's not a lack of ability, thats a lack of character. You think if Kobe was born in Anderson's body he would become a 1 dimensional spot up shooter who scores only 10 pts a game on 8 attempts? Gimme a break thats not even good efficiency. I don't blame Anderson for making a lot of money I blame him for producing so little despite making a lot of money. Anderson is still being paid money to perform a service, however his service is not satisfactory. Bball players are the same as every employee out there why do you make a distinction between the two? I work because I am paid to work, he is paid to produce on the court. He isn't doing that thats why he is getting clobbered here in CF. In the same way if I slacked off or made mistakes in my produced financial reports then I also expect to get chewed of by my boss, I can't tell him to blame our HR rep for hiring me in the first place. Why does Anderson need to shoot less for Gordon and Paul and Harden to score more? There are more than enough attempts to go around, during HnH era we had Harden, Dwight, Parsons and Lin getting a ton of attempts. And the system now is even faster paced and has more reliance on 3 pt bombing! Thats just a lame excuse, look at GSW they have 5 major offensive threats on the team but everyone is scoring a ton. The only reason Anderson is scoring less is because he is a mental midget, he thinks he is on the same level as Ariza but Ariza is there for defense Anderson is supposed to be a major offensive threat. Finally lets talk about expectation. Morey obviously expected Anderson to be a star, thats why he paid him 18M. If it was just about having a 3 pt shooter role player there are tons of role player stretch 4s he can get, in fact Morey got rid of a lot of them over the years like Patterson, Beasley and Marcus Morris. Morey has a history of only targetting stars, he wouldn't spend a lot of money on someone with no star potential this is the same guy who traded away Lowry and let Dragic walk. He even paid Gordon just 13M despite the FA situation, it meant he didn't lose his mind in FA spending. I guess he really thought Anderson was a diamond in the rough and so paid him like a star. So, part of the blame goes to Morey but a lot of the blame is still on Anderson because he isnt performing up to expectations like what I mentioned at the start. Like I said what if Kobe was born in Anderson's body, you really think he will max out at 10 pts a night and being a liability at everything else? Thats just Anderson being passive and not feeling a responsibility to do his very best to help the team win.
^ what I see in Anderson is a clear physical restriction. He’s got slow feet and isn’t athletic. He can’t squat down fast enough. That’s why he doesn’t take a low stance on shooters and keeps a distance. Very very overpaid and he can be the sinker.
anderson sucks when cp3 isn't playing. i'm not worried and i still like anderson because he's great when cp3 is healthy and playing. i'm still glad we have him instead of melo.
I wonder what the heck has happened to him this last couple of weeks? It's starting to look like something worse than a typical shooter's slump. Let it fly, Ryno!
