That totally came out of left field. No one could see that coming. You know what you don't hear people say anymore? "way out in left field." which is totally different than that 'came out of left field'.
If you could, that would be a GOOD DAY. As for the topic, I have to shrug. It's just another lie from Mr. trump. He spouts off so many lies (I read somewhere that he averages about 5 per day) and this is simply another one. So much for, "I'm going to be supporting America's steel industry!"
What a shock that stupid people didn't realize that Trump was a con man..... Educate yourself to his history and this would not be surprising...don't be STUPID - do the research. DD
[Educational Post] This NYT piece is absurd -- picking a localized spot and trying to extrapolate that the industry as a whole is not doing well. This could not be farther from the truth. This is a partisan-inspired hit piece that is misleading at best, and purposefully dishonest at worst. The steel industry is BOOMING globally -- it's red hot. Utilization is up, prices are up, profits are up -- all thanks to a super charged economy, with leadership from America's economic juggernaut. Do some research into the author -- she is no more qualified to speak to the steel industry's health than some of you are to explain quantum physics! GOOD DAY
It took a nose dive under Bush and stabilized under Obama. A localized area in the industrial northeast... the home of where the steel industry has historically been? If the steel’s demand is so high then why isn’t MAGA-nomics doing anything domestically?
[Educational Post] The steel industry is concentrated in the Midwest, not the Northeast. If you don't even know this much, it's time for you to concede that you are outgunned here. Sorry. I repeat for emphasis the steel industry is prospering at levels not seen in 10 years. A 20-something year old feminist at the NYT who wrote this out of touch, poorly researched article, needs to spend a little time in the real world. GOOD DAY
So you missed where I said historically? Actually, the steel industry has moved into the right to work south in the 21st century, along with the auto industry. NAFTA has been great for the south and Texas.
"The president's own words and lack of action have actually put the industry in a worse position than if he had done nothing at all," said the president of the Alliance for American Manufacturing, Scott Paul, who added that he has "a profound sense of frustration that the president has been using steelworkers as political props." Fake quote probably
Let's think through the logic of this. We have been told that words (hyperbole, exaggerations and straight out lies) from the POTUS doesn't mean much and have no consequences. Thus, this is very fake. #MAGA!
