Officiating was bad, sure. Harden isn’t really one to be demonstrative or purposefully get techs or make strong post game comments. I have a feeling it goes beyond this game. Maybe some injury, some fatigue, some other night of bad calls and last night...maybe a ref said something to him he just couldn’t shake.

But they lost because of Lou and Rivers making 3s look like lay ups.

 

Please tell me everyone in this thread is being ironic.

 

Craig is a p***y.

He was not brave enough to call out Harden whose not playing well to lead the team last game.

But Bill was not afraid to call out Harden on the air even when we were winning, he clearly mentioned many times when Harden was doing ISO late in the game : the ball stopped moving.

Coach Mike D'Antoni and the Rockets can be compared to a World War Wehrmacht soldier's weapon of choice --The Mauser MG42.

The MG42 (Maschinengewehr 42) was considered one of the most feared weapons of world war II. The gun had an effective range of 2300 feet and a high rate of fire 1,800 rounds. The gun cartridge fed into the gun from either a 50-round or 250-round belt.Any foe standing in the way of Wehrmact infantry soon found out about the lethal weapon they had to face.

The gun had weaknesses. First the gun used up ammunition quickly(it had no single shot capability). Second was tendency of its barrel to overheat. The barrel had to be changed often. Other times the gun would jam. Still many historians consider it the best general purpose machine gun of the war.

As long the gunner new how to minimize his gun's weaknesses, he would be putting the gun to its intended use, to kill the enemy. The gunner must know when to change the gun barrel and do maintenance. Just as the MG42 will require maintenance to change the gun barrel, and be fed its ammunition, so too do the Rockets team need a break to rest in between games.

So if coach Mike D'Antoni is the soldier(triggerman), the Rockets roster is the MG42 machine gun.

You could say that the Rockets roster is filled with snipers, shooters who compare with the best in the league. Just check its current record. Along the way though, playing through the 82 game season, soon wear and tear will take its toll on the players.

Maybe they can give the gunner a temporary break?

Umm there was 3 crucial call against us and 1 clearly to keep a guy from fouling out. The Clippers won the game because they were the more aggressive team not looking towards the refs.

Terrible calls and I’m sure the refs got scolded or will get scolded during their monthly reviews.
