LOL... both of those teams got major luck and major discounts because of Pop and GSW dominance of which we have neither. To equate the Rox with those two situations mean you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

Btw... We won't have to chose either when Lebron joins next year in large part because of CP3.

warriors have 3 superstars 2 stars and best depth in the league. they can lose 3 starters and still left with 2 superstars

rockets have 2 superstars and the most top heavy team in the league

our 8 main rotation basically needs to be 100% injury-free and fresh to maintain 1st seed & beat the spurs & gsw in a 7 game series

 

Another positive.... these losses have come vs the West.

hate to break it to you, but with the way OKC and WB has been playing recently, we're probably getting get killed if Capela isn't healthy and back.

a lot of Rockets fans ******** on OKC and Westbrook early in the season and it's true, they sucked early on but they have really picked it up the last 4-5 games.

 

They don't live in reality. The reality that GSW drafted 3 all pros in two years, that KD chose a championship team, that Spurs have championship pedigree and Pop, which brings in cheap FAs, etc... Truth his Rox are starting to get that type of attention (Lebron to Rox?) but only after CP3 joined. These fools think you can have it all, all at once. Just kids who don't know anything.

 

Glad these losses came early in the season, our weaknesses being exposed will allow Morey to patch them up by the deadline, we have a depth quality issue, we need a better 3rd big, we need another wing who can step in and play D when we have injuries, and we need another capable 3rd guard (even though I do like what B.Weber does). Our scrubs suck, we got injured and have no quality players to plug in, all of our guys are tired and playing with no energy.

 

Both teams prepared their young and 3rd stringers to go out and play the same style as their 1st unit. They are the Germany soccer team of basketball. They can still win games with 2nd and 3rd team.


Meanwhile, rockets can't do anything when Harden or Paul sit. 2nd and 3rd stringers rely on the superstar too much when the ball isn't moving.

 

Yea, although there were a bunch of rumors about Lebron wanting to come here, I still think it's a pipe dream. It's hard to imagine Lebron leaving the East, where he dominates, just to come here unless his good friend CP3 is that convincing.

Our only expectation this year should be to reach the WCF and hopefully get the 1st Seed, if not the 2nd Seed. I think everyone's expectation jumped way too high after seeing the win-streak and the funny part is, we've actually had a pretty easy schedule strength up until mid December which a lot of casual fans don't know. So the win-streak wasn't all that surprising considering we were healthy too.

 

Yea sure let's just ignore the CP3 trade that gutted a deep roster that was built over time to win a stupid internet argument. Let's create our reality to sound smart on the interent!

 

Golden state plays their rookie Jordan Bell from first game of the season, they clearly have a goal to develop a sustainable system in mind.

 

We need to get healthy fast. Since we are bigger rivals with Warriors. And I want the 1 seed #LetsGoLakers #BBB

 

So mad right now, Rockets are a totally different team all of the sudden. Forget the refs, we lost this game in the 3rd quarter when we came out and let the scrub Clippers just outwork us on both ends. What a disgrace smh.

This game shows why there's still a sizable gap between us and the Warriors. They have tons of injuries lately and they've still won 10 in a row. Their whole roster 1-15 buys into the system on both ends and are all on the same page. Rockets are just not consistent enough especially on defense these past couple weeks. Defense is a major issue where we have regressed mightily. God I'm so pissed right now, and this is perfect too right as the schedule gets harder we're playing our worst ball.

 

Winning rings ain't easy. Yep.

Look at all the heartbreak we had to go through for the stros and it takes pure luck too. Warriors definitely got lucky.

Curry's ankles was so much luck towards the cap, had he been healthy he would have gotten the max way earlier than he did.

 

Gordon: Haven't been playing our style. Defensively, not as aggressive & trustworthy. We gave them confidence in the 2nd half. (Frustration after 2 losses?) We haven't been doing the things we're supposed to. We've been winning off talent lately. We have to fix our mistakes. We need to play fast, work hard, trust each other more on defense. (2nd half?) We gave them confidence. They hit a bunch of tough shots. We didn't do what we needed to do.

 

Lol A Rockets team that is all Focus on the Warriors yet lose to the LA teams..A team like that wouldn't do that. Once that got out to all meida sites and seeing Rockets lose games like that..people wont take this team seriously

that's also the downside of D'antoni's system. You need a competent PG to run the offense. We don't really have a 3rd guard who can do that. EG can create for himself, but he rarely assists on drive and kicks. He's much better suited as a spot up shooter.
