I think the book in the NBA on The Rockets is. . . . You can get the Refs to give you a few calls. . . .
and the Rockets will be taken out of the game

Refs can go one sided for about 4 minutes. . . and then they can call it fair but the Rockets will be disrupted.

    QUESTION:
    RANK OUR PLAYERS DEFENSIVELY?

From our BEST DEFENDER to our WORSE

If you look at the history of MDA teams' records on their sixth game/seventh game in 10/12 nights, you won't be surprised at all by these losses -- especially when you factor in the injuries.

Golden state wins 10 in a row without Curry and Green. You can say that they still have Durant and Klay but we still have Harden and Gordon. If you want to be at that level, you can't lose two in a row to bottom feeders.

Our list of defensive accomplishments this month:
    • Allow Joe Ingles to shoot 7-10 inside the arc (mostly layups)
    • Allow Kyle Kuzma to shoot 8-10 on 3 pointers
    • Allow Kyle Kuzma to score 38
    • Allow Corey Brewer to score 21
    • Allow E'Twaun Moore to shoot 6-8 on 3 pointers
    • Allow E'Twaun Moore to score 36
    • Allow Jrue Holliday to shoot 4-7 on 3 pointers
    • Allow Jrue Holliday to score 37
    • Allow Rajon Rondo to shoot 3-5 on 3 pointers
    • Allow Damian Lillard to shoot 9-16 on 3 pointers
    • Allow Al-Farouq Aminu to shoot 5-8 on 3 pointers
    • Allow Austin Rivers to shoot 6-15 on 3 pointers
    • Allow Austin Rivers to score 36
    • Allow Lou Williams to shoot 7-11 on 3 pointers
    • Allow Lou Williams to score 32
Let's not wonder why can't win in spite of Harden's 40-50 point games?

I'm not sure what we are debating about. There's something seriously wrong with this team's depth right now.

Some people always want to point fingered at someone for a teams struggle. This time, you can really say it’s injuries.

Injuries cause more than just missing a certain player.. or two... or three in this case. The remaining players have to play more minutes, at times with people they don’t normally play with for huge amount.

We are simply just suffering through injuries. That’s it...

Still have Harden, still have Gordon, still have Ariza and Tucker who are playing really good ball. We shouldn't be losing to the LA teams.

Jordan was destroying us with his rebounding and the clippers were attacking the pain all night. That won’t happen so easily with Clint in there

we don't have a true center, it really shows. It's hard to have Tucker try to play center

A team that has Ryan Anderson as a starter can not pretend to be an NBA champion; but a team that pays Anderson 20 million per season ...

Should be morey and the coach. We dont have strong people for rotation after injuries. Ariza needs to play 41 mins. Buy Michael Beasley or Lou Williams type players this year. Otherwise we miss the chance to get the championship

Unless I am mistaken . . . .at some point in these games
all of them would have a nice dose of LUC in their face

So . .. it seems that with Luc out . . . . .some things go away on defense

You gotta change that avatar. I'm about ready to block you, not because of what you post. I have no problem with you but your avatar pisses me off.

If you let an NBA player, almost any NBA player (but really, the guards and fwd), makes a few shots, they gain confident and is going to make more than their normal %. Happen too often with these Harden lead teams. Just a pattern and part of the reason is Harden need to give space since he simply can't keep them them in front of him... And so, they get open shots or easy drive in, and sometimes both. Then there is Mr Ryan.

There is always somebody went off on us from 3 point land, there is definitely big flaws in our perimeter defense scheme.
