Make no mistake, Harden's needless stupid turnovers down the stretch absolutely killed any offensive rhythm we might have had.

MDA, Morey, & 1/3rd of the posters here seem to think depth isn't a problem

The L is the main thing, but respect history and legacy.

    It's doubtful there's been 10+ players with b2b 50-pointers.

They arent meaningless at all. getting the 1 seed is so big and you just cant let these kind of games ned up in losees you just cant.
Looks like well be lucky to withstand the spurs for the 2 seed as things go. Maybe thats a good thing seeing as our home record and crowd is abysmal anyways

You know, it’s a least a bit weird that a guy like Weber can post minutes when a guard is hurt but a forward AND a center are hurt but Zhou can’t get a sniff?

Look, nobody in the NBA has an all star 3rd stringer....but he is a professional baller and this is obviously the situation to see if he can get something going. The fall off from rotation level players to the bench on this roster is HUGE. I find it hard to believe the case exists where they are not good enough to play in a pinch but also you can’t find a player you would be comfortable with putting them in.

Typing this as coach talks about spent legs and minutes. We’ll figure it out. We’ll figure it out? It’s basketball not brain surgery.

I'm not getting into the comments you've made regarding other things.

But I agree with you Anderson was brought here to shoot... And the Rockets to a great job of getting him wide open looks, often times with the defender many feet away from him.

Posters have a legitimate beef with him when he flat out REFUSES to shoot these shots. I'm sure there are others who get just as frustrated as I do seeing him pump fake, his defender not falling for it, the trying to dribble by them when they're in near perfect position.

It's no coincidence he had two stellar games back to back earlier in the season when he had zero hesitation in letting it fly.

I don't know if I've seen another player get in their own head as much as Ryno.

The Rockets made errors late, and Sweet Lou got some revenge...

But that was some of the worst 4th quarter officiating I've seen. James disrespected that official because these officials disrespected the entire game and the players by deciding the outcome of the game. You let the players win and lose. You allow a rookie to fall down 10 times and fall for it each time...that influences the game.

You call a foul on the same rook, but give it to Sweet Lou...yeah...

    Our defensive rotations were slow.

Austin Rivers has always been on my "hated" list. I despise him.

    /Rant

PS, sometimes, losses are good. This will end up as a good loss. The Rockets will grow from being defeated twice in a row while James dropped 50 each time. The guys will respond because these losses feel so badly.

One season it was the "Philly game"....There has been the "Toronto game"....this season may be the "LAC game"

    Merry Xmas

I agree we played bad, but we've won games where we've played bad. Might have won this one too playing badly which was my point.

    Bad opinion.

The ball was moving tonight. What are you watching? The problem wasn’t that harden was playing iso, the problem was that nobody who gets the ball can do anything with it except shoot. Weber was scared to shoot, nene and black couldn’t do anything, tucker and Ariza cant create off the dribble, ryno can’t either.

This isn’t surprising. When you have two playmakers and no above the rim threat you have a problem.

When role players have career nights against you night after night, you are not playing defense.

If the Rockets can't beat the lakers and clippers (sans 3 starters) without CP3 and Capela, they have some issues that will make it very hard to beat GS.

    Wrong.

The depth issue is a product of the hard cap, not a lack of a desire to have depth.

I can tell you D’Antoni wants another rotation player added via trade (has for awhile). We will have to see if Morey keeps waiting for a bigger deal near the deadline or decides to pull the trigger sooner.
