Calvin:

1. Defense has to go back to the drawing board. Too many easy baskets inside/going to the basket.
2. Offensively, we're tough when the ball is being moved & everyone is involved. Rockets bench getting 10 points, too many shooters for it to come to that point. They have not played their game in 2 nights. Too good for the Clippers to get 125.

This criticism bothers me. He couldn’t overcome the refs with mental toughness. Their blown calls meant turnovers. He can’t just play through the fact that the refs took the ball out of his hands. He was being extremely aggressive.

Eesh. back to back losses to a couple of dung bucket teams. I once thought we were a deep team. We are paper thin. We have ONE above rim threat and when he is not there we cant establish the rest of the offense because defenses can key in. Add in our only other play maker out as well and we are nothing special at all. We really needed this win. I think OKC might lay the wood to us given what we did to them in the playoffs.

 

In that case, I'll take it all day long!

The Rockets are human & 1/2 their players are out. We need some hungry rookies to play in games like this. Nice to see our old bench squad => they played well. We lack youth and wanting to prove something vs the underbelly of the league. Tied for league best record but not for long IF well don’t get healthy soon.

Our MVP needs to learn to play defense. If you want to win championship you better step up to play defense. He needs to watch durant Play defense last year in the playoffs. He was a beast on both ends.

I’m not pretending he has been great the last few games but he was hardly the problem tonight. He’s being asked to create offense off the dribble and he’s being asked to be the five because nene and black have been miserable. He’s in a no win situation.

They just need to trade him for the sake of clutchfans. Clutchfans would rather have a low b-ball iq blakhole chucker as long he is athletic, bricks mid rangers instead of threes and can dunk.

I love how everyone just wants to ignore two charges against the Rockets on a guy who shouldn't have been in the game during crunch time in a close game. Like if those plays don't matter. Might be the most incompetent referee crew I've seen this year but doesn't matter right guys?
