Why are you lying like your savior Trump does every single day?

The liberals' meltdown in this thread is quite a sight to see! They know that Trump has scored major victories in year 1, and that really burns them up.

What the majority of Americans really need is an increase in income. Let's see if that actually happens. A tax cut is fine as a temporary bandage, but it won't fix the real problem unless wages go up and healthcare/education costs go down. This is what truly kills (pun intended) many Americans.

No, mine was simply a response to someone who implies that the outrage, insults, etc. all come from one side. This is simply not true.

Trump has some accomplishments. Unlike the conservatives on this board, I can see across the aisle and give the other side credit.

He has also been a very nasty, bullying, vindictive President. That is not a sustainable leadership model. And it does count for something. I am not going to excuse his behavior just because he's done a few good things. He must be held accountable for this.

This is where the liberals miss the big picture. They care more about words, than actions and results. In their mind, the absolute best job a president can do is to sound politically correct, even if it means not putting our best interests first.

You're hilarious. You really should have taken the time to listen to Limbaugh, Hannity, Mark Levin, and Fox News as I did from 2008 to 2016. Trump did not expose biased media- they were exposed in 2009. If your guy wasn't such an ******* on a regular basis, maybe they'd go a little easier on him.

If I had a President constantly calling my news organization "fake news," I'd probably make him work harder to get a fair shake. Plus, it doesn't help that he lies at an unprecedented level. They have no choice but to call him out.

That being said, yes, there are certainly outlets who are biased.

But don't kid yourself and think that this started with Trump.

Unless you were born in 2015.

You are using language incorrectly. The President's utterances- and actions- are not in the category of "politically correct." But I'm sure you know that.

Again, I did give Trump credit. However, I am not excusing him for his behavior. So, it's not surprising you would come around to highlight his "accomplishments" and ignore the rest.

    Agree.
in trump's campaign he said to the hard working american, "Affordable bigger and better health care for EVERYONE." that's not being a liberal those were his own words. But just look at the daca issue. when trump teased with a meeting he had with pelosi on the dreamers, his own ass kissers started turning on him, melt downs like big texx says.

There is nothing in it for the hardworking poor or middle the class. there is no coal, only the black lung, cough cough.

BTW, you should know better that tax cuts in and of themselves are not enough. I am fortunate that I was able to put a kid through college (out of state, to boot, which was a real pain in the ass in terms of tuition), and his loan to pay off is relatively low compared to what I've heard from others.

But I don't know how other people do it. Note to any parents out there who have kids planning to attend college: first seek out colleges in your state. Seriously.

In my son's last semester in college, the monthly tuition payments were up to $3,100. So, if he were attending college in TX, it would probably be around $1,500. How in the heck can some people afford that? When I was a teacher making **** pay, there's no way I could have done that.

And let's face it, not having a degree can make it tougher to get jobs. College tuition is unsustainable without income increases.

I gotta say I was against the wall at first, but now that I see it built it's a thing of beauty. The fact he was actually able to get Mexico to pay for it was amazing. Also, now that I'm not paying for Obamacare I have tons more money to give presents to my friends and family. Also, since he single handedly defeated ISIS I sleep better at night knowing we are the Greatest nation on earth, and have absolutely nothing to fear from China either. I'm so glad America is the leader of manufacturing jobs again too. He's done a ton of great things, and I can totally eat some crow on this one.

    I agree with this assessment.

How would you propose creating a climate for raising wages?

Well, I would like to think that cutting corporate taxes would incentivize corporations to raise wages, etc. But since they've been operating on record profits and didn't do this for years, unfortunately your only solution comes down to the federal government stepping in with things like a raise in the minimum wage, heavy penalties for outsourcing overseas, etc. Big government overreach sucks, but sometimes there's no choice.

It's like as a parent, you'd really like it if your kids did what they were supposed to all the time based on encouragement and guidance. But, let's face it, sometimes punitive measures work best.

Tax cuts became law TODAY and hasn't taken affect yet, moreover, only an idiot would judge a tax cut success or failure in the short-term. Were you one of those people that said the W Bush tax cuts were successful right after it was signed? My guess is that you are both an idiot and one of the people who lauded the Bush tax cuts only to be sorely mistaken later. You haven't yet learned your lesson, have you?

Plus, we NEVER included Obama's appointment of Supreme Court justices as accomplishments- ever. I defy anyone to find a post where we included this among his achievements.
