Bitcoin is moving on from being a currency to the defacto store of value. ETH was suppose to be a smart contract platform but it is now being used as currency to move across platforms. Things will continue to change.
Facebook is well-known to buy promising companies instead of building their own network though, seen it with instagram, oculus, whatsapp etc Could easily a imagine a big partnership with LTC.
Each of those companies were the leaders in their field and were ... companies. There's nothing to buy here. The infrastructure needs to exist *outside* of FB for it to benefit them. FB is a control-freak company - they want to control the development of everything they do and they have a master plan behind how to tie it all together. Crypto is the opposite of that - they don't get to control any of it and have to deal with all the problems from their customers. For example, LTC transactions slowed down due to network issues? People don't understand that stuff and are going go complain to Facebook about why their ad purchase hasn't gone through. It's an unwieldy mess that goes against everything about their company philosophy.
LTC has a great dev team, marketing, management etc, so there's definitely an infrastructure. Completely agree, masses need more education and it will take a while until crypto becomes embraced by more people.
Big 4 all tanked at the same minute and rebounded, no idea what's up with that. Seems like a whale attack.
Man, I still am waiting on Coinbase, this thing is messed up today. Hopefully I can get in during this dip..
Majority thinks alts will do extremely well early 2018, today's btc correction emphasizes it even more.
Thanks so much for the help/info! I'm still trying to get in... Going to buy some soon hopefully, and hopefully before a big rebound after this dip. You still like iota?
Yes, although their devs aren't the best. But there were some exciting news this week, definitely a buy: https://blog.iota.org/iota-selected-by-tokyo-metropolitan-government-program-fde6b34ddc16 https://cointelegraph.com/news/iota-gets-substantial-investment-from-bosch-group-vc
