I am with you on all of this. I'd hate to lose Clint (and it would be a big risk) but Biyombo has been a long time favorite of Morey. He's floundering on that Magic team that has so little to offer in terms of experienced guards. He'd put up big numbers. Maybe Onuaku could show him how to make free throws.

Aaron Gordon is one of those young, elite forwards. CP3 might turn him into Blake Griffin. It would be a luxury to not be on losing side of athleticism and just watch a player like him go to work.

Orlando is in a tough spot. Their roster is pretty unbalanced. They lack perimeter shooting to space the floor, and their guards have just let them down. Aaron Gordon is a developing player, but he's 1 year away from graduating to free agency. Orlando has to feel the weight of that as a non-major market. Biyombo is young talent too, but he doesn't fit on this team at all as a backup to Vucevic. Hezonja just hasn't clicked as he's had layers of people in front of him. As a young player who can't get on the court, he's struggled.

Your proposed trade: Capela, Anderson, Williams, and whatever else (rights/picks) for Gordon, Biyombo, and Hezonja would be great for the Rockets (chemistry problems aside).

Or Lucas can help him like he did with Capela. It blows my mind that Biyombo is still only 25, Aaron Gordon and Hejonza are also still 22 I believe. They have been in the league for it seems forever but still so young.

Biyombo may be much older than 25 years. Orlando may move him, but they are much less likely to trade Aaron Gordon. Biyombo by himself isn't worth trading for.

Don't want Biyombo by himself. Just like no one wants Ryno. Its about the package. Would give up Clint and 2 firsts for AGordon package. Orlando has to make moves, they are going nowhere right now even with Gordon. Their window is tomorrow.

Rockets window is right now. Draft picks don't help Rockets now.

Breakout season indeed but not winning. Orlando has no strategy to win, now or in future.

Gordon is 22, and the only one player with star potential. They can retain him, and try to add more talent around him, like the Rockets have done with James Harden.

Star potential, not superstar potential. They've had him for 3 years and still can't win. He's good but not Harden good. If not Gordon then Morey needs to ID another up and comer to pair with Harden/Paul.

Looks like Houston is all in on re-signing CP3 with LeBron this summer. Hope you are not disappointed with just
minor moves the remainder of this season. Big 3 for next year? Harden/CP3/LeBron + Capela (this yr of seasoning).

Not disappointed at all if that comes to fruition but more interested in opportunities right now. We have a championship to win THIS season.

Morey knows that that seasons like we are having right are not guaranteed in the future. Time to strike is now, if possible.

The moves will be dual purpose.

    1) improve team while saving a spot for LeBron at PF.

    2) cap positioning. Asset collecting to assist in moving a Ryan Anderson contract.

I feel your urgency D-rock. Things don’t always happen per your schedule or mine.

    Stay cool. Luminary

I'm very chill AW. :D Just having cool Rockets dialog with fellow fans. But bird in hand is always better than 2 in the bush.

I tend to agree. I don’t believe LeBron will come to Houston this summer. But maybe CP3 can convince him.
Much to swyyyguy’s chagrin.....Melo talked about wanting to join CP3 in Houston this past summer with
    LeBron following soon after.

I don’t believe it will happen; but I didn’t think CP3 would force/ask for a trade to Houston.

My trade ideas are more for the smaller fish like Trey Lyles (contract) or someone under the radar at PF
that can be pushed to back up a LeBron James or Melo next season. First round picks reserved to move
Ryan Anderson. Accumulate additional first round picks is Morey’s M. O. An Aaron Gordon would block
    bringing in Melo and/or LeBron.

Its sort of a keep Harden happy, while keeping CP3 happy. This is why Bobby Brown is on the roster
and why the Rockets will pursue LeBron/Melo this summer. If the Rockets could move Ryan for Melo
this trade deadline; then they will. Chemistry on this team is unreal right now. Not sure Rockets
care to disrupt the team too much. Drexler trade upset many players on the team that year.
It worked out in the end; but cost the team precious wins because of discord. Not sure the Rockets
could overcome a 6th seeding to win it all because of toes......quote-unquote being stepped on.

Hear my out. Carmelo Anthony opts out of the final year of his deal just like Ty Lawson did to come to the Rockets. We send Anderson and maybe a protected pick and other other fillers to get Melo. Who says no?

Would love to get Gordon but i don't see Orlando trade him now that he's finally playing very well, he's basically the only player they should keep no matter what, all the other player are much more expendable than him.

I believe Westbrook & Paul George could benefit from Ryan Anderson hitting 3’s. We need Ryan to get hot again.
Troy Williams and Black need to increase their trade value as well.

Thunder are a desperate team. They have to win this year. Westbrook is stuck there but Melo (ETO) and Paul
George can walk this summer. They will probably trade Melo for perimeter shooters. Ryan Anderson
might be too expensive though. Just my opinion on what I would do if I were the Thunder.

Thunder fear just Westbrook for the following years with no stars around him. OKC doesn’t draw
    big name free agents.

Morey is not going to make any major moves before the deadline... unless it is to dump Anderson's contract for an expiring so he can chase after Lebron next off-season.

Morey has already come out on radio and told the entire world he's focusing all his efforts on Lebron.

We aren't gonna win anything sitting around with injured players. Additions are needed now. There is no guarantee that Lebron will come to Houston. FA's and buyouts need to be targeted.
