Right now, the only swing-for-the-fences star I’d consider is The Brow.

He’s about the only “available” player I’d consider risking chemistry and sacrificing anything for.

I listened to the clip...Kelly Iko doesn’t know how to pay attention

Broussard never cited a league source unless you count a former player who won a championship as a “league source”

all this PG13 to Houston just sounded like a hypothetical...the former player told Broussard that he would give up a PJ Tucker, Anderson, or Moute for PG and Broussard said that if he was OKC he’d tried to get an Eric Gordon...the former player said that we don’t have enough star power to beat GS in the playoffs

this wasn’t some sourced info from an executive, it was just basketball talk between Broussard and a former player that Broussard was relaying to Colin Cowherd...Broussard doesn’t have sauces like that anyways

all this stems from Chris Broussard talking to a former player that won a championship, that’s no source...Kelly Iko out here spreading fake news

Lol, OKC has more star power than us, that's the silly thing about that statement.

I like that he will improve us substantially on the defensive end but I'm finding it hard to justify even Ryan for him with the way we are playing.

At this point they can have Joe Chee, Bobby buckets or a Black type of guy but anyone in the serious rotation and I just get scared about screwing up a great thing. All time offensive team great thing. That's nothing to sneeze about.

Of course OKC would never do that. We would have to mortgage the future completely to not give up anything of note in the rotation and I'm not sure that's in Morey's wheel house.

As good as George can be, I just don't ever see him getting on the kind of roll Ryan or Egod can get on. They go unconscious enough that it makes us absolutely a nightmare to deal with.

I've also kind of soured a bit on the guy since the trade. The Pacers didn't miss a beat and got better. We can't let that happen to us. If you watch OKC, they're getting open shots they're just not making them.

Look, if the rumor that PG is gone at the end of the season to LA is true, his price just went WAY down. The question is, is there NO chance PG would stay if we have success in the post season? Is he THAT set on LA?

Skills wise he is an improvement over any one of the guys we have. Chemistry wise, its a complete crap shoot though and we don't have a pre season to integrate him...it would have to be done on the fly.

Given where we are as a team its a really tough call whether we should go for him. Ask Harden and CP3 what they think and go from there?

true, but it was just some former player’s opinion so it doesn’t mean much to me...a lot of these former players sound like Barkley, they don’t sound informed about a lot of teams

I think PG leaving this squad is unlikely. We are the only shot at a championship for him in this scenario.

Also, Ariza is a FA this summer as well, so it doesn’t impact our LeBron plan should PG leave.

How would we get Reddick? Philly isn’t taking a contract like Ryno’s for him. Keep in mind that Reddick is making more than Paul George is this year.

Ryno straight up for PG is a joke, I'd probably be willing to give up Eric Gordon too. PG is a very good 3pt shooter from the areas of the court where we need him, and he really stinks at bad 2's, which he won't be doing much of on this team. Don't get me wrong, Ryno is a tremendous spacer and is playing great this season, but PG is an absolute lock down wing defender that can play PF minutes, and is also a very good elbow and corner 3pt shooter.

I would do it for Anderson and combo of other players. As long as Gordon is not involved. Also... I would be very hesitant to make a deal for George because of his uncertain status and the possibility of Lebron James in 2018. I don’t think this happens.

I say the rockets will just scout the buyout market and will not make any trades, if I was a betting man.

Eric Gordon is the small head to the 3-headed monster for the Rockets. He means too much to the Rockets. He is too good. I hope he atleast plays out his whole contract with the Rockets. The fit is too good. I do not trade him for ANYONE short of Lebron James.

This will only happen if Melo is bought out.

As much as I would like PG to join Rox, as I believe he be a much better "Robin" to Harden's Batman. I'm highly doubtful OKC will trade anyone with the Rox ever again.

You laugh now. But when the season's on the line and Lebron passes up the game winner to Kyle Kover in the corner, you'll understand

I don't think they'll let go of Gordon, Tucker, or Luc. Maybe they're dangling Anderson and Capela. I know Capela is going to want some big bucks next year.
