Question begs, will PG bolt even if we won it all?

That's shorter than a Ron Artest stint before changing his name and colors.

They will make a move during the season but not of the PG13 caliber.

We are certainly not at Golden State's level. Nearly all my posts are related to upgrades. However, I'm concerned about team chemistry.
CP and PG can be a good fit. Harden not so much so, although PG can take off pressure from him. My concern is PG wanting to have a lot of shots. When James/ CP get going, is he going to be content to do to be a decoy, and concentrate on defense? Ariza is certainly not as talented as George, but he knows his role and tries his best. Ditto for EG, Tucker, Luc and Ryan.

I just dont see Eric Gordon in play. He's too valuable to the team, and I recall reading that including EG was a non-starter as part of the Melo discussions in the summer too.

That would be all right with me too, but that's not going to cut it.

If anything happens, it will happen closer to the trade deadline and definitely include Ryno for some expiring contracts and role players,

I think that is possible, please give examples of role players/ expiring contracts that may be included for him. I think picks may have to be added too.

    bullshit.
OKC is 2.5 games out of the 4th seed and homecourt advantage. They are 7-3 in their last 10 games. They are not trading George now.

Trevor is going nowhere. If Melo walks they’ll have some money to spend.

They might, he looks miserable there and if they can get something then they’ll move him.

I wouldn't be surprised if we got Melo instead of George.

So teams and like Portland and New Orleans have a record similar to them and they have as much as chance as the Thunder to win a ring which is zero. Thunder are not wining anything as constructed. No depth, washed up superstar, a ball hog point and PG who looks disillusioned about the whole situation

and?? Except the Rockets and Warriors, every other team has pretty much ZERO chance to win, I don't see them trading their players.
OKC can get easily to the 2nd round if they get a home court advantage.
Plus PG leaving for nothing is much better than having Rhyno on the books.

It wouldn’t be a rental If it got done. Paul George with an agreement, for PJ Tucker & Eric Gordon? You wouldn’t pull the trigger on that? Maybe not, but quit making it sound like it’s an obvious no, dude. To beat the Warriors, it is definitely something to consider.

I don't see how the Thunder would give him up for Ryno/Luc, but that is definitely the deal Dork Elvis would prefer.

All in all, I hope absolutely nothing happens, at least until I see these upcoming Celtics/Warriors games.

You'd break this team up for 6 months of PG!? Ballzy, CP3 is also a FA lets not forget. I don't envy OKCs off-season, I'd prefer them figure that mess out and stick to what's been working. Surely, adding Reddick to this team would have to be viewed as a quality, and much cheaper, option come February...

From the Thunder's perspective, they have zero leverage. They might be happy just to get assets back for a rental. Granted it's still too early to discuss this because it depends on their record around all-star break.

Would much rather have a deadeye professional 3 point shooting instead of a redundant rental in George.

Klay may not be a super star level player if he is the first option of his team; but he is the best player ever to be the 4th option
OKC is 7-3 in last 10 games because 1. They got really lucky; 2. Adams has been a beast, averaging 6.3 offensive rebounds(including many clutch ones) and 17.3 points. 3. OKC gets back to last year's mode, i.e., Westbrook taking all the shots he wants, the rest take whatever is left. Russ averages 24.2 shots per game in their last 10 games, which is about the same as last season, at a 38% FG%. Melo and Geroge have been even more miserable in the past 10 games.
