Nah Grizz were pretty legit in the beginning when they were healthy. Didn't they beat the Warriors too to start. But yeah Raptors are low key good this season, they might surprise people in the playoffs. They are a well oiled machine now at this point, the chemistry is just too good.
The Rockets should win that no matter who's suiting up. I'll be pretty disappointed if they don't go into that Christmas Day game vs OKC sporting a 16-game winning streak.
The moment we lose da media is gonna have a field day on da warriors winning streak. That's how close they r behind us on da standing.
It's not outside the realm of possibility the Warriors keep their streak going all the way through the early January matchup with the Rockets. The only real obstacle is the Cavs on Christmas Day.
Your translation is wrong. I never indicated anything close to Rubio being greater then LeBron. I simply stated he played a good game, not a poor game. And I pointed out what is going to keep us from winning a championship. You failed to address either question I asked. Are we going to enjoy a huge free throw disparity in our favor when we play the Warriors? Do you think the Warriors are going to run out of gas in the 4th quarter? It's December. Not March, April, or May. It's December. Enjoy the win. Enjoy the streak. It's fun. But better not ignore what we're seeing out there....against a team like the Jazz, a decent team, that lost its best player a few months ago, whose defensive ace was out along with two other rotation pieces, who gave us hell until they ran out of gas. This team's weakness is on the defensive interior. I don't care how many 20/20 games Capela gives us. Our Achilles is the defensive interior. If we fail in our championship quest this season it will be because we are too soft in the defensive paint. Rubio is good. Capela is average. In my opinion we still need more interior defense to win a championship than we have right now. But whatever....toot, toot, we blew out a depleted Jazz team in the 4th quarter at home. We good in da hood.
No I just didn't bother to read your latest novel. Probably not, but we weren't playing the Warriors yesterday. Should we have gone 110% and won by 40 instead just to appease you? It's a marathon not a sprint. See, these are the comments that make people not take you seriously.... You probably would prefer Jared Uthoff. Yeah, and the Warriors have lost to Sacramento at home! A win is a freaking win, and we won by 21. Relax.
Ummm, we did go full bore yesterday. The first three quarters the Jazz simply thwarted our offense. They fell apart in the 4th. We didn't all of a sudden come to life. What happened in the 4th (while Harden sat) was Paul ran up and found Gordon quickly in transition. No magic there. Just two simple things. Paul running the offense and getting rid of the ball quickly and accurately instead of Harden dancing with it. And the Jazz not having the legs to get back and defend. I like Uthoff. I want Uthoff on this roster. Because he'd be an upgrade over Ryan Anderson. But Uthoff is not a center. Not even a small ball center. So while I like him, I wouldn't prefer him at center over Capela. If I were any more relaxed I'd be sleeping. Probably something you need to do.
morey very sly to call into the league office and get that stat adjustment. all tactics are on the table against capela's agent for next july
not sure I buy this. Rubio is in the bottom quartile of guards in the NBA, and Capela is leading the league and/or close to the top in several categories. I'd interpret that as "above average" to say the least. I understand your opinion is that we may need more interior defense to beat GSW, but your argument to justify that opinion is a little shaky I think. If you simply mean that Capela is an average defender, I still think you might be on shaky ground, but at least that's a bit more intelligible.
Nope. He means exactly what he said. 100%. He said fairly recently the rockets need to trade their assets for Ricky Rubio and if harden didn't like it or wouldn't surrender the ball to him then to trade harden.
They didn't thwart our offense, we just missed open shots, about half of them corner 3's. Our inside shots were falling at about the normal rate, but our outside shots completely dried up and for no reason other than we were missing. Then in the 4th, they stopped missing, but the overall performance was still only a return to the mean (and the defenders were closer to gordon than they were to most of those misses).
