K these posts brought me out of Lurk mode....Anderson was a good reason why we Won against Milwaukee...Just saying....
He's not that inconsistent. Outside a few poor shooting affairs this month, he's shot the ball pretty consistently
Players have slumps. Gordon was in one and is now winning the game single handily tonight in the fourth quarter. Unless you think there is supposed to be all nba players in every single spot in the lineup.
While I agree, something looks of with Anderson. He is not even shooting. I expect that he is Injured. I expect that he will bounce back in a spectacular fashion in one game.
Is it just or isn't it annoying when he pumpfake a layup...!!!!?? it never works and he always keep on doing it.
The thing that makes Anderson the most frustrating is he only really brings shooting. So if his shot is off or if he just isn't getting a chance to shoot he can't contribute.
Big difference between him and Gordon: When Gordon’s shot isn’t falling he can still do other things. He still can drive, he can pass a little bit and he can still play a respectable level of defense. And then there’s a good chance that he can explode kind of like he did tonight. When Anderson isn’t hitting his shot he really can’t be counted on to do anything else really. Yeah he’ll give some good hustle and occasionally make some good plays around the rim, but too often he flat out becomes a liability. Being a net zero is one thing....being a net negative is something else entirely.
he had a decent run so far to start out the season. but i fear the ryno of the past couple games might be the ryno we get in the playoffs too :X
This is the main issue with Anderson, he just gets owned by PFs who are good defenders. We can totally make up for it now with Ariza, Luc, Cp3 and Capela but I dunno how the Rox can keep all those guys next year.
i feel like we need to try to get him going as well, with easy midrange shots which he's very good at (ie. the dirk one legger). it's hard to get in rhythm just shooting 27 footers
Lol mid range shots are harder than 3 pt shots. Plus Anderson himself is the one who gets hesistant and stops shooting. Gordon has had off nights too but he will keep shooting till he's like 1-12. It may seem bad but on the Rox you need to be willing to take those shots to be a threat. In Anderson's case he just shuts down mentally so the opponent just closes in on Harden.
How long have you guys been waiting to fill this thread with Ryan hate? This thread is rocking after being dormant for a month. Get it all out guys.. that flesh is getting weak.
I agree. CP3 tried to get him a post chance against rubio and it was a woefull endeavor. It was very bad.. It has just been a bad stretch of games because the matchups have not been in his favor.
