GREAT to see Gordon playing like a boss again, on a night when we had to have it! I was bracing myself for the frustration of our winning streak being snapped by a short-handed Utah team. What a quarter.
Not smart of Rubio taking most of the shots down the stretch instead of passing to Rodney Hood who had the hot hand. Bad for them, good for us!
I'm a big Anderson fan and don't want him traded but he also passed up open looks. I didn't like that last year and I don't like it this year either. It's his job to shoot and it's an important role. That's where my comment regarding lack of confidence really stems from.
Yeah, let's forfeit like a bunch of non-competitive softies! Idiot. And no this doesn't deserve its own thread.
thinking about our team just makes 73 wins sound more insane. the rockets are 25-4 and have won 14 straight. if we went 25-4 again, seemingly impossible, we would still have to go 23-1 to finish the season to tie the record. also, don't we have home games for the next 4 or 5 days so we'll go ahead of golden state? of course i don't know if they had even lost a home game at that point. that was back when they were respectable and worthy of hate. now they're just sad bandwagoners whose success is empty.
I want that number one seed. The rockets know it too. Usually the 1 seed gets to the finals. Let okc warriors spurs maybe battle it out. So I'm all.for stacking up wins Rest later in the year
not that we weren't dominant, but that seems like a small point differential for an all-time record. you'd think someone dropped the hammer for a 30 point win in there somewhere.
Eric Gordon versus the third best perimeter defender is such a mismatch. Utah played well, but they fell apart under our shooting and D in the 4th quarter. Okay, I love how much we’ve grown as a team. We’re clearly not playing our best, hurting with bumps and bruises, and taking Utah’s best shot. And we get 9 minutes of solid play in the 4th quarter which results in a blow out. Clutch shooting and reliable defense=Fun to watch.
I don't like it, Don. Splash/Smash/Flash is enough. It feels right.. it flows.. Don't try to make this happen.
So we just won a game and instead of celebrating with the crowd, the first thing you thought to do was tell everyone we should be throwing in the towel less than 30 games into the season and my life must suck? You truly are stupid. Like actual stupid. Maybe you're book smart or something, but you have very very little common sense about you.
I dont think that stat line warrants an exclamation mark. Thats got to be well below their combined average.
Wait what??? The first thing I posted was actually about how much I liked Capela's development after receiving the pocket pass. My statement about not following the Warriors was me trying to say that I hope we don't lose in the Finals after a historical regular season. It had NOTHING to do with wanting to throw games. Geez.
You're like that 'friend' that shows up at a party and says, "Let's all go home and sleep so that we can be well rested for tomorrow!"
I dont know what is more impressive...The Rockets only having 79 points entering the fourth and then dropping 41 on the Jazz...OR that they only allowed 15 points to the Jazz in the 4th...
