There's only one Kobe Bryant. There's not basketball Kobe and non-basketball Kobe.

When I'm driving down I-10 and flip someone off, I don't get to write it off by saying "Oh that's just driving me, it's no reflection of non-driving me."

if instagram was around in the early 2000's i doubt the lakers instagram account would have congratulated hakeem on retiring.

And that puessy did it while pretending to get up over Shane too. Too much of a byitch to get into a real fight. Fack Kobe. Nowhere near MJ but Lakers trying to hype him up as if they're close. Screw the Fakers

I turned on this Lakers Warriors game just so I can go make food during halftime and intentionally not watch the jersey retirement :)

Yao's retirement speech was better. The way the rockets did it was better too.

    I expected more

Didn’t like him as a player, think he was rapist and was disgusted by media calling him a hero for flying to play a playoff game after being trial. I won’t pretend to a fan is his now that he’s retired

    Meh.

LeBron James' jersey retirement will be the real deal.

    Cleveland, Miami, and...

James Harden needs to change his number two more times before he retires so he can one-up Kobe.

Please tell me you're not comparing oj who was obviously guilty to Kobe who I'm pretty sure isn't. There are plenty of athletes getting set up out here... did you forget the details of that case?

Anyways y'all are ridiculous, as a fan of the game I respect him, on a personal basis I hate him more than any other athlete but that's not because of my great "morals". I loved jordan and he's a bigger dick than probably any player in the league.

Kobe deserved all the recognition he got for the work he put in and if he was a rocket you'd be saying the same thing

He was an total ******* to his team mates too outside of the game. Anyone remember Parker's story about Kobe. What about that time he walked out of a practice yelling at everyone (I think it was the year Jeremy Lin was on the Lakers) only because it was a media day open practice so he can show everyone how much of a badass he was when in reality he never really shows up to practice in the first place.

That on top of the the rape charges, the hissy fit he threw game 7 against the Suns and then cried to be traded. Drove Shaq out of LA.

Can't find any redeeming qualities about him on or off the court.

And if I flip you back it's not because of your DRIVING but something else.

Okay, I'm not a Kobe fan, but I definitely don't think he is a rapist.

More like he picked the wrong crazy white b****...

Congrats and we're extremely happy that you're no longer in your prime or in the league. May you never return to your days of greatness because that **** was scary. Thanks for all you've done lately because yesteryear sucked.
