Imagine if we had a productive power forward. I don’t know how Ryan Anderson goes scoreless in games.
Truth. Everyone here knows the value that Harden brings. He has helped lead this team deep in the playoffs, but a weakness of his is closing games out. At times, Harden can be unbelievably clutch and hit amazing shots to win a game or take the lead. At other times, he can let a comfortable lead slip away through bad shots, errant passes, and forced contact in effort to draw a foul that doesnt get called. CP3 gives us an alternative in critical game situations to JH when this is how things are going. In the past, we would continue to feed the ball to JH possession after possession, and, on occasion, he would struggle. In CP3 we have someone who can lift that load, take the game into his hands late, and orchestrate late game possessions with amazing efficiency. Overall, it is a net win for them both.
Harden d!ck riders need to realize that this is CP's team now. And that's a good thing. If Harden adjusts his role and accepts the fact that CP is a much better player, this team's potential is infinite.
Tuned in in the middle of 3rd quarter. Harden has 10 FTs and Utah Jazz has 8? I know they've been doubling James out of pick and roll a lot, but it's not like we don't make any fouls. Super excited to win the game after unbelievable 4th quarter, but I'd wish our opponents' fans didn't have to use the FT argument every single game.
Can we just admit that Eric Gordon is a really, really special player. He is clearly the third best player on the team and Capella is not far behind. He is a tad streaky, but when he is ON, he is money.
Ryan Anderson was the only Rockets tonight with a - +/- and he didn't score. But y'all keep defense bring him. I'm goin hate!!!
honestly, i was just calling it as i was seeing it, and my observation wasn't a criticism of Harden, he is still an unbelievable player. Glad you understood what i was trying to say. Excellent game from rockets today, loving the Harden and CP3 tandem
So much nostalgia, I miss those days , just a tough, hard-working and over-achieving team ...but hey, random 20-0 blitzes that completely obliterate opponents in a matter of minutes ain't all bad
