i saw harden a few times calling for the ball from CP3 and not getting it in the 4th qtr looking a bit annoyed, but near the end when the lead was safe CP3 did defer
I don't think so, you are seeing a fully fit and firing Paul next to a struggling gimpy harden. Harden will dominate again soon. Regardless, we are coming!
After *never* being able to shoot 40 threes against the Jazz ever in franchise history, Rockets have now shot 23-39 for 59% (as Harden scores 56 points) 18-42 for 44% 17-43 for 40% (as Jazz double Harden every time he touches the ball)
I don't think he was annoyed. Especially when CP3 looked him off to get points for other players. Harden hugged EG after the game.
If you look closely at the highlights you'll see me tell James,Chris, and Eric...... I got this.... I got you!!!!
40-19 4th against portland. 41-15 here against utah. whatever run we went on to come back against new orleans. this is a level of dominance i don't think i've ever seen in a rockets team, from the championship years to the 22 game win streak. dominance in some games, switch-flipping in 4th in other games. amazing ride. i worried this 7 game homestand would be a great time to let off the gas, but we've kept it up.
Harden is the best player when healthy but if he keeps playing with this knee it can only get worst. He needs a game off to get a 4 day rest
For those saying it is CP3's team, remember this... Harden has (multiple times) gone further than CP3 ever has. CP3 came here to JOIN Harden. CP3 knows he won't win a ring WITHOUT Harden. Right now Harden is banged up and CP3 is fully healthy, so of course there will be disparity, but there is not a single player in the world that can match the offensive ferocity Harden explodes with when he is healthy and goes absolutely nuclear.
Yeah, that was a pretty brutal stretch. Wasn’t ready to make plays on offense, and repeatedly got exposed on switches defensively.
I'm hoping we can keep this 1 seed. If we do and OKC gets the 7 seed, we'd only have to face one of SA/GSW/OKC.
