CP makes a behind the pass pass to Anderson for an open look at a 3. For some reason he does not shoot it and dribbles into trouble and kicks it back to CP again. Does Anderson not know his own game?
The problem is his shot selection. Harden still thinks he's Curry and jacks up three pointers whenever there's sliver of opening in defense. Five threes already in a quarter? smh
this is why i'm not generally a fan of taking the foul to give at the end of the quarter for no particular reason. paul basically let himself get beat just to take the foul (and lots of people do this). fouling with 4 seconds left when a guy has just started a drive is, to me, much worse than just letting the play go on. the guy still has to beat you and make something happen. with an inbounds, you can throw it right in to someone like the jazz did and/or set up a play that you didn't set up on the play before. i mean if you somehow get it down to 2 seconds and think the guy isn't shooting then i guess you take it, but otherwise seems pointless. now if you just legit get beat then take it, but too many teams did like us and just take a lazy foul.
If we aren't down by more than 15 at halftime I ain't worried. We seem to destroy teams when we decide to
man when we're all wearing brain chips and can make instantaneous telepathic bets with other people, i would've made so much money betting ariza was going to miss his follow up, whatever it was. he actually got an easier shot than i thought and still bricked it.
