Which Presti is smart enough not to give up. He's already mortgaged their future by sending Oladipo and Sabonis to the Pacers for PG's short stint. IMO, he will reach a buyout agreement with Melo over the summer. No-brainer for both sides.
We'll never know if he's as good as Hakeem cuz his knees are wack. Maybe if he was 100% he might indeed be the next Hakeem cuz he's he is this good despite all his injuries. I think you never really recover from torn ligaments. Sure you can rehab back but its not as good as pre injury.
If I am not mistaken, Westbrook, Melo, and PG are the bottom 3. Or they were the bottom 3 a couple days ago...maybe that has changed.
"The ball has gotta move and we have to generate better shots," coach Billy Donovan said. "We can't iso our way to being a great team offensively." ""I'm good with that, if we win. I'm cool with that, man," Anthony said of his shot total. "[Westbrook] had it going and any time he has it going we just gotta space it out, play off of him, let him work. The ball will find us. As far as the shots go, there's going to be nights like that. I think that's something we have to accept. It's different, but we have to accept that." "FG% be damned. I'm going to keep shooting"- Westbrook. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
Westbrook don't give a damn about your FG%. He's going to keep shooting, like a great POINT GUARD would
This is actually a great attitude. If Anthony and George make themselves super role players in support of Westbrook, things will turn around. Now instead of three players iso-ing and chucking, you just have Westbrook doing it. That alone improves things tremendously.
OKC has done a 180, instead of being a decent team via peripherals (+4 to start season) with some tough luck losses and convincing wins, to a team with shitty peripherals (has dipped to +1.5 on the season) with lucky wins and blowout losses. OKC looked like they were going to figure it out before, now I can't say so much.
OKC has gotten worse on offense since WB decided to "take over" every game tho, look to what Katz tweeted under his orig Tweet
Ok, but they won slightly more games. What I meant. One of them has to shoot less, and Melo isn't the No 1 option. WB isn't efficient for sure, we all know, but him being aggressive will change the game. Better than lethargic Melo at least. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...city-thunder-limited-4-points-win-lowest-2012
