I know we talking Harden a lot, but the Rockets really did make it look easy against a GREAT defensive squad . A lot of people thought Rockets were a fluke. The Rockets are for real and the defense is for real. Don't let the media say the Spurs weren't trying.. They were trying for 2 qtrs and the Rockets blasted them.

 

The Spurs defend Harden very well. Gasol and LMA sag in the paint and rarely get a 3 second call. It takes away from Hardens drives and the lobs. I saw a stat last year that LMA had the best paint defensive FG% in the entire league. He seriously disrupts our offense. Then you have Kawhi on the perimeter wreaking havoc defensively.

Now with CP3 you get the midrange stop and pop as well as Leonard can’t switch and guard both Harden and Paul.

It’s looking more and more like CP3 is fitting in superbly.

 

Harden is the Rockets right now. That's what a franchise player means.

 

What an utterly shitty comparison. Let me know when Harden LEADS the ROCKETS to an NBA championship. Then you can make that comparison with the benefit of hindsight.

Dream had his down moments, but by that point he had already knocked off the prime Showtime Lakers to get to the Finals. Harden has YET to have a consistent playoffs in his time as a ROCKET. And this season follows a playoff exit that was so bad on Harden's part we are *hoping* he just had a concussion.

It's nice to have superstars who can play together and dominate. Something a lot of people didn't expect, almost as much as OKC struggling to win. This season confirms to me how overrated Westbrook is.

Harden is not the best player on this team. This is not some crazy statement, even ESPN ranked CP3 ahead of Harden before this season. CP3 is more complete basketball player, and the only edge Harden has is scoring but he's way more inconsistent. CP3 is consistent as fook

 

We're tearing through anyone in our path this season. Negative Nancies can just gtfo thanks.

The Rockets are going to steamroll their way through the league and be a load to deal with in the playoffs. Best Rockets team since the championship years. Laugh if you want, but Capella gave me some Hakeem flashback moments tonight. This kid is getting better and better. His size/agility ratio is amazing. CP hasn't played this well since his early years. He looks like he is really enjoying himself. Harden had an "off" night and was still fantastic. Ryan and Gordan are deadly snipers. Just when you forget they are out there they start lighting it up. Ariza is quietly having a great season.

 

San Antonio defends Harden well. Too bad we got Chris Paul now, too.
