    Danny Green might be injured? That's bad news for the Spurs. He and his 9ppg are the key for them beating the Warriors.

    I agree I also think we should have won .

    We had by far the best player and were fairly even in overall talent.

    I also agree Pops did nothing magical ...

    But on the other hand , I think D'antonio absolutely got "out coached " and lost us that series.

    The decision to go to a 7 man rotation was awful at the time and looks awful in hindsight.

    Outside of harden concussion "theories" , dantoni is the biggest culprit

    You can add a wear and tear argument , and dantoni is responsible for that too.

    Sure , sometimes small sample flukes happen . But , in basketball, the better team wins a 7 game series the overwhelming majority of the time . And the main difference last year was coaching . We now have the distinct talent advantage . This regular season matchup means very little

    There is no test that the Spurs or any other team can give Harden and Paul that they won't pass.

    The test that the Spurs and some other teams are going to give this team is a test of Capela and our big man rotation defending the paint.

    Can our defense play in the bonus as little as possible and minimize oposition free throws? Can our defense minimize opposition points in the paint and at the rim?

    If we pass that test throughout the season...we're a championship team. Everything else is there.

    Next real test is the Warriors in mid-season form.

    Inevitably there is gonna be some **** team that we will struggle against, but I'll chalk that up to an outlier like the two Memphis games without CP3, the Sixers game without CP3 and Gordon, and the Raptors game without CP3.

    Although we can beat gsw in a very long series. The spurs in the wcf is who the rockets should want. It’s very important the rockets get first seed.
