The schedule is tougher, we have less rest (actually, now that I see the sched, this is technically true but probably irrelevent), Luc is out, and we have Golden State 1 game back. It's neither optimistic or pessimistic to think we're gonna lose the one seed in this tough stretch. It literally only takes two losses in our next seven games where we play San Antonio, Milwaukee, OKC, Boston, and three scrubs. 5-2 is pretty fair, no? Like I said, if Golden State didn't exist, it would be a shock if we lost the one seed, but it's all about relativity. Y'all are acting like I'm sitting here predicting the Rockets are gonna go on a 10 game losing streak, lmao.
I wasn't referring to your analysis (which is, in my opinion, pessimistic), but rather your excessive use of "lmao/lmfao." When you use that to refer to something that isn't intrinsically humorous, it comes off as very judgmental and smug.
Warriors are missing Curry. Their schedule is pretty weak though unfortunately. If Curry is gone long we can easily maintain 1st seed.
Bruh, do you even twitter? Lol. You are projecting way too much for what essentially amounts to a filler word... No offense man, but you might need to lighten up. You started a thread about people being trolls on the internet a week ago as well. People are gonna troll, people are gonna have speech mannerisms that you find annoying or "judgmental or smug".
You see, that's the problem. You are using lmfao as a "filler word." But we are on a forum where all we see is text. We can't read tone or body language so we have to interpret your words (or acronyms in this case) as they are presented. So to us, it seems like you are 'laughing you ass off' at our serious comments. Doesn't sit well. I appreciate your critique. Maybe I could stand to lighten up a bit. I'm not trying to be a hater, I think youre a good poster, I just don't think you are quite aware of how others interpret your messages.
@peleincubus and @theimpossibles1 getting mad for people saying "disease" and "lmao" I'd like to invite y'all to go streaking with me. It's good for the soul
I wouldn't say mad...more like perturbed . You know what's not good for the soul? Prison. Be careful. If you are a hot babe you can pull it off, but most police don't take kindly to seeing man-junk flopping around in the open air.
good news.. but lets not pretend this is a game changer injury.. we went 11-4 without Chris Paul and would have probably been 13-2 if we had Eric Gordon who was missing in the sixers and memphis losses.. but all things considered, if we were told before the game that we would lose a rotation player for 2-3 weeks, there would be atleast 7 players you would hope are ok before the prince.. the five starters and then Eric Gordon and PJ Tucker.. Lets not pretend this injury is the difference between us going 9-0 and 7-2.. The way this team plays, Chris Paul would be the difference between going 9-0 and 7-2.. That being said really really glad Luc is out only 2-3 weeks, I love his defensive intensity.
I like Troy WILLIAMS a lot... he ready and a ain't scared streaky shooter especially on the spot up. He'll be fresh enough to play some D. He got ups.
I agree this isn't james or Paul going down and you are right. Would probably name 7 players ahead of mbah that I would not want to go down. BUUUT I am not so sure this doesn't hurt more than you think. Lately the starters have been farting around at the beginning of games. 1st quarters have been meh. 2nd unit comes in which mbah is part of and we ratchet up the D and start smoking our opponents. Maybe Troy can replace him to a degree. 2nd unit floor general can certainly bring it out of him if anyone can.
hopefully, Qi gets some burn time, maybe 2-3 minutes at start of second and fourth quarter, get some stops with second unit and run
He's not a defensive switch machine like luc. Sometimes it's like he's in 2 places simultaneously guarding both the lane and the line. He's like Schrodingers Mbat.
