My God!! I didn't know there was even an acl ligament in the upper. Body. I always thought they were only in the knees. Man, what horrible luck. Now we have to give Troy Williams some minutes.

 

i know our garbage 5 is almost impossibly horrible, but i still might leave in a gordon or someone just to leave some talent on the floor and just basically dribble out the clock until we hit the 3 minute mark (at least against scrub teams like the hornets). the spurs have spent years resting their stars and letting the bench squad handle sizable leads. we have to have the coaching to rest guys in 20 point blowouts. now i realize james harden is not exactly out there diving for loose balls in these blowouts so the minutes probably don't really matter, but the extra rest would still be nice.

 

No Bobby Brown no banana boat!!!

 

Harden looked off, should we trade him and build around Eric Gordon?

Cp3 is completely destroying 2nd units. Getting momentum against 2nd team then destroying 1st units after that.

Dantoni putting him against 2nd team is proving to be genius.

i'm all for reducing the minutes. we just need an actual nba point guard or ballhandler, not some g-league flake or bobby brown, and you can hold the lead. spurs have always had that, they close out games with patty mills/murray in blowouts.

 

So Spurs were after CP3, we shall see about that Pop. Rockets > Spurs

 

Harden looks a little slower, less explosive since that calf injury.

 

Nice win! Only 10 TO's. All minutes <35. On cruise control in 2nd half. Got ready for Spurs match up Friday. That will be a measuring stick game with CP3.

yeah i realized as i was typing that gordon was like the only other ball-handler we have and any lineup without a ball-handler (or with bobby brown) is going to struggle. but i still stay with a few more minutes from cp3 since he's already in. maybe stretch it out with gordon for another minute or two. and only break glass in case of emergency with james when the lead is so big. but whatever, it's how mike does it.

there have to be 50 g-league guards better than bobby brown. i don't remember bobby's earlier work that much but i don't remember him being this terrible. it seems like he has become among the worst people to ever get minutes in the nba. he does almost nothing right out on the court and can't shoot.
