So, just for clarification, anybody retired after 2000, you take prime numbers/ability....

Not sure, they came up with a salary cap and it could be just 2017/18 actual season.

If you are smart n lucky you can have 6-7 Borderline allstars and Ex Allstars. Theoretically speaking.

One more rule to figure out: We often had a rule where players had to be active in the NBA for at least two years, I think many of you want rookies involved though.
So maybe we'll go with the rookies are okay rule, but implement a "at least 20 games played" rule.

What about 10-15 games, I'd say at least 15 games.

It's no Alltime and some of you will probably have to get down to a list of 50 k salary scrubs.

There is an average of about 26 games or so played this season.

I would say better than half the games played.

    15 games played

K let's make it fiftteen, checked the games played stats for rookies. Although I suspect most won't pick the more mediocre rookies, so we should be good either way.

And when done with the Draft, I think we will check everyone's roster if they are over the cap.

People severely Over the Cap should trade first.

Then we will trade. After that we draft Coaches.

Trading should be allowed during the draft, always made for the best trades and more versatile strategies (for example you spot a guy that went under the radar for five rounds, so you trade up. Or you don't get to pick your target and suddenly have more/less salary available than expected).
