    Yes, the turnovers quickly turned the game around....and allowing Harden/Paul to ISO with no one to help for like 7 possessions in a row was the death blow of the Death Lineup.

    Why are you arguing with this so hard, as if the lineup didn't create chaos in Portland's defensive game plan.

    Are you telling me you really couldn't see the difference between how wide open the lane was in the 4th vs the rest of the game?

    Yes, I know that we couldn't really do this last year because the defense wouldn't work. But when we have 5 shooters on the floor, and two of them can ISO (Harden and Paul), there was no way Portland was going to be able to stick to our 3pt shooters....without making it a true layup drill.

    I'm not saying the refs weren't bad at times, I'm just not complaining. 42 ft attempts..

    that's the point that a lot of posters are trying to make IMO. I'm not going to complain after a win but the blazers seemed to embrace the "play super physical every possession because the refs will feel too self concious to call a foul on us EVERY time" strategy.

    The FT disparity could've been larger if they called everything that was technically a foul. I'll take a W though and not think about it

    best thing to happen from this win is we finally saw what cp3 and harden would look like in a clutch end of game situation.

    they've been blowing out teams that we haven't really seen that yet.

    not only are cp3 and harden showing they can work for 3 quarters but also end of game situations as well.

    usually the mediocre team needs to bring it when they visit the #1 seed's arena. hopefully karl lane will show up and bring it for you once again though.
