He is currently on pace to have the second highest win shares in a single season in NBA history right after Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's 1972 season. In the next month Harden will pass up Carmelo Anthony, Tracy McGrady, and Allen Iverson in total career win shares. Which comes with his first 3 seasons coming off the bench. On a side note. Hopefully he is good enough for a All NBA 3rd team nod this year
He has a solid case for second team. Harden has a history of being 2nd. MVP, and all those records set by Tiny or big O.
Offensively i think only Durant is more versatile and overall i have Lebron Durant Harden Leonard Curry in that order as the best players on the planet.
This never gets old. This was coca scolas response to three question how McGrady looked after the knee surgery.
Harden is an all-time great production wise...once he gets some hardware he will cement his status as 1 of the greatest to ever do it
I thought last year, as far as most unstoppable player, he'd be third after LeBron and Kevin. But as far as leading a team and maximizing the talent around him, he was above those 2. This year he's been better as a scorer as seen from his percentage numbers but that could be partly because he's playing with a pg whose even better at maximizing his teammates play.
As today nobody is better than Harden aside for Lebron so yeah, he's pretty damn good. Wouldn't trade him for anyone, not even for Lebron at this stage of their careers.
