Their “ talk show” after the basketball games is very lame. It’s more like water cooler talk / essentially like the View type concept for the NBA.

It’s not an objective show at all. I wonder how many people would call them out on it, if it were the other way around? What if the Rockets were the object of their affection, instead of Golden State or Lebron James? Just a rhetorical question for y’all; you know when the tide turns.

But it’s TV, it’s primary purpose is to entertain and draw the money. It’s unfortunately, a formula that works. A show with no accountability, and it is probably the most popular of basketball talk format.

What can we say or do, but be incensed? It’s making them money, and it works.

14-1 since that 5-3 start. Not a word about that.

They weren't that bad toward the rockets (other than chucks typical rocket hating attitude/which he confirmed not liking houston because they owe him 3mil and kept talking about it last night) everyone i felt were pretty accurate. Houston is good both defensively and offensively. Do we have enough to beat golden state? In a single game, yes. But do we have enough depth and consistency to beat golden state in a best of 7? No, we don't.

One point that shaq brought up that i completely agreed with, is golden state is good offensively and defensively. and they have too many good players. So when they're having an off night from the 3, they have other ways they can still kill you. With us, if our 3's arent droping, and it's against a good team, we fall apart offensively. That's the difference between us and golden state. But I will accept a western conference exit taking the warriors to 6-7 games. I would consider that a successful season.

It must be written in their contracts that anything Rockets related, they must troll to the nth degree. When we win titles, I bet these trolls will say it does not count because Jordan was not around.

so you believe the rockets can take the warriors to 7 games but you won't give them a better chance to win game 7 at home?

The narrative of Harden being a flopper is still strong nationally. So it’s easy to pile on the Rockets without consequences for these entertainers.

Sure he can be a magician drawing a foul, but he actually would get fouled. But as the rules get modified, James Harden is still in the MVP talk year after year.

But guys with a flopper reputation are everyone’s favorite bad guy.

I said i would accept that if that were the outcome. Me personally, I don't believe that at this moment, thtat it would go past 5 games. It may change as we prove ourselves more through the season, but I'm being realistic.

And no, I'm not giving us a better chance of winning game 7 at home. We have to rely entirely too much on harden, who I hope you haven't forgot, went ghost on us in an elimination game last playoffs.

i'm not saying its impossible, but putting my rockets bias aside, thats my realistic opinion.

so you admit that harden has the heaviest burden to carry these past years

then blame him for the rockets failures?

lol nobody is the blame, basketball is a team sport. Nobody should be the blame. But we needed harden in an elimination game and he failed to show up to play. Thats stating facts, not shifting a blame. On the contrary, if we wanted it bad enough someone else should have stepped up. Maybe this year that guy can be chris paul, but thats the downside of having someone of hardens caliber (ie lebron in comparison). When your star guy doesn't show up to play, it makes it harder on the rest of the team.

Lol fact is harden and everyone around him gas.

Even ask morey, mda, and cp3

6th game 2nd round was the limit of that overachieving team

Unless you can prove someone else could have carried the rockets farther than harden last year

Shaq started to question it but realized all 3 were in agreement so he decided not to say anything. You could see his wheels turning but then he couldn’t come up with a joke or his brain processed the info too slow

It's pathetic how there are some who call themselves Rockets fans yet hate on our MVP candidate more than haters do. At least those guys can be excused as ignorant having never consistently watched Harden play.

    Highlights
-Chris Paul not known for his defense
-Really like the way the Jazz play, playing faster now (shows a clip of the Jazz running for a fastbreak but the Rockets are already back on defense lol)
-Rockets aren't better than they were last year because they aren't better than the Warriors
-Rockets will go fa....well...I don't know if they can win in the playoffs, depends on who they play (Chuckster)
-Warriors are just a better defense than the Rockets
-Klay and Steph are better than Harden and Paul
-LOL MOREY WHY U MAD THO WE TALK NICE ABOUT THE ROCKETS ALL THE TIME
-ROCKETS STOLE 3 MILLION FROM ME.
-TOOK A PAYCUT SO PIPPEN COULD JOIN DIDN'T KNOW HE WASN'T BRINGING JORDAN
