I don’t care about them either. But when an overwhelming amount of people start spewing ignorant drivel, it tends to become a mob mentality that even if it’s not true becomes the truth.
Yes it would and the Rockets have responded to TNT before because TNT is a legit with former NBA players and former Rockets on the squad. Max Kellerman has never played in the NBA neither has Stephen A Smith. But as I mention, people watch anything and take everything personally and legitimately now. It's the sign of the times.
So what ultimately does this do besides hurt someone's feelings? It doesn't hurt mine cause I don't care for the show.
What it does is take away from Harden, who should have at least one MVP. It takes away from the team, any of the other “media darling” teams that if they were doing as well would be getting props instead of being compared to a team that will most likely win another championship. I’m not for moral victories, but this is an awesome season...again...and instead of saying hey these guys are good. It’s misinformation and saying well they can’t beat the Warriors. Realistically no one will but that isn’t being said about other top teams.

Don't let opinions of people who don't matter rattle you especially someone that is on a debate show in which his "opinion" is GIVEN to him in a production meeting. Harden took away from Harden by playing like **** in the second half of game 5 and all of game 6. Lower your expectations for national media respect until the playoff omen is vanquished. **** a mvp, it turned my stomach to watch him campaign for that **** in every interview last season. Shut the **** up and play
I don’t base anything personally on any of this. It’s a talking point. If someone’s opinion differs from mine so be it, that doesn’t mean that I can’t speak my opinion on the matter. It’s irresponsible from “reporters/analysts” to outright lie and deceive to support their own opinion, that also happens to dictate the overwhelming national narrative. If you were “victim” of someone spewing misinformation about you, would you say nothing? Just supposed to take it and say nothing back? That doesn’t seem right either.
I didn’t like the campaign either. Probably feels like he has to, to fight the opposing narrative. Mvp is regular season award, playoffs shouldn’t matter. By way of your reasoning Westbrook shouldn’t have won either, he lost to Harden pretty handedly
Westbrook won the MVP last year. What good did that do? I'm rooting for the team. Golden State didn't win the title yet, we're not even half way through the regular season. As one of the fortunate ones who has seen 1994 Championship, that year, you knew Dream was the MVP. Like you know the water flows and the birds fly. Regular season awards are not important til the regular season is over.
What I saw and heard by the TNT crew was mainly that Rockets are good so far in the regular season but their style of play will not get them far in the playoffs and that the Warriors have better players. Kenny went along with what was being said especially that Klay and Steph are much better then Harden and Paul plus with Durant the Rockets can't match up to the Warriors. I am fine with the hate coming from Shaq and Barkley but from Kenny, come on man WTF!! Did someone hurt Kenny's feelings or did the organization did him wrong or something? That guy should stick up for the Rockets instead he goes along with what Barkley and Shaq were saying.
Do have you the video of what the TNT crew were saying after the Rockets game as soon as it was over with? That is what Morey is addressing with his tweet I believe, that first segment the TNT crew of Kenny, Shaq, and Barkley were not given the Rockets any so call love.
Well they opened the postgame by talking about their favorite college football teams/players. Then during the game highlight they did their usual thing of Ernie attempting to commentate while the other 3 talked amongst themselves... Then they actually talked about the Rockets, and it wasn't pretty... Video (audio) uploading...
Exactly it wasn't pretty at all and the crew has the gall to say that they give the Rockets love on what I saw in the first segment it was hate on the Rockets.
Here's the clip: Barkley is just talking out of his ass. First he says GS plays defense well and implies that we don't. Then he says (repeatedly) that Curry + Thompson is better than Harden + Paul. I think most would agree that Harden > Curry and Paul > Thompson so... Yea Chuck, just shut your stupid face please.
Yea. Kenny says we "may play better than anyone in the regular season" which is an insult wrapped up in a compliment. And Shaq is the first to suggest we don't play defense like GS. Bunch o haters.
