My biggest fear is the price is being driven high in purpose by investors just to short it on Sunday....
Rightfully so and rest assured that when it starts free falling there will be experts who can cash out their orders while you are stuck waiting for yours. For me BTC has always been a buy and hold but that was very early in the game. This tulip mania has sort of ruined that strategy and now I'm considering myself to get out. To crazy for me and my money.
I would not be surprised, something shady is going on. This is a suspect run-up. I would have felt better with a steady climb.
US Tether value has gone up vs USD. That seems to be a red flag - there's no reason that should happen, especially given the questions surrounding USDT right now. Also means places that use BTC/USTD would show lower 2-3% prices than places who use BTC/USD.
Lot of speculation a short could come with launch of futures 12/10, but everyone is guessing at this point. Bitcoin going scorched earth on alt coins
This is May all over again. There is a serious case of FOMO going on. Once all of these exchanges get the new wave of people verified and caught up, the whales will dump like crazy. Coinbase will crash leaving all the suckers unable to access their account. When FUD leads to chicken little and doomsday, that is the time to buy. Follow some of the facebook pages for the coins and watch the reactions there.
Why is it Wall Street is crooked for playing in this market while everyone else is not? Everyone here is purely speculating.
There was a massive influx into the cryptoworld and the whales pulled out. This lead to the infamous .10 Ethereum buys.
Yup lol In all my years I've never seen anything crazier. I'm moving my money into alt coins and taking some profit
Pure gambling boys, pure gambling. btw... this run is ruining btc legitimacy as a respectable currency. steam just announced, stopped accepting payments. It's too expensive and volatile to actually buy anything with btc lol tin foil hat, wouldn't be surprised if the pumping is to sabotage the legitimacy and reputation of bitcoin. remember, bitcoin isn't what's valuable necessarily it's blockchain tech. are the central banks pumping it up to destroy it?
