This is the documentary. Its the same thing that was on FS1 the other night. On the DVD (or on iTunes) the extras include highlights from throughout the season, a special segment involving Harvey, a video with all the clinching moments (division, ALDS, ALCS), and a video with parade footage.
ugh... I've spent too much on World Series gear.... I was supposed to get my copy last night from Amazon Prime but I didn't. I saw Michael Conner and others talking about how they got their copy already so I ended up buying the iTunes copy. I didn't realize the showing on FS1 was going to be the same. There is extras like you mentioned. So I have it on digit, hard copy and DVR...
Scooped up the doc and DVD set with all the games a few minutes ago from wally world. Another 75 bucks down, that put me over 500 in WS merch, but totally worth it. I spend 50 hours a week at work so I can buy any crap I want.
It's funny looking back even with the score 5-1 with two outs how uncomfortable I felt until that third out. That 500 lb gorilla is gone!
bought the doc and the collectors set yesterday as well. Watched the doc last night and in my opinion it was put together extremely well. A lot of behind the scenes footage and of the players sharing their perspectives. As for WS expenditures. I have spent easily over $8,000 (which includes ticket to gm 5 and going out to L.A. to go to gm 7). Money well spent and memories that will last a lifetime!!! I STILL catch myself saying "they did it.....they freakin did it" a couple of times a day.
This made me laugh! I think I'm up to $800. I got carried away but man I still can't believe the Astros are champions. Seems so unreal.
On ESPN 97.5, Lance McCullers Jr was on for like two hours with Lance and John. There was some good stuff talked about. It's on their podcast if anyone has interest.
Nice to hear. It’s a shame that Innes’ audio was featured on the documentary (they played snippets of excited fans calling in)..... 20 years from now, when I go back and watch, I’ll still cringe when I hear that racist voice.
