He worked under Dawson and left after Morey was brought in to succeed Dawson. Has done great for Utah considering their location not being attractive. I wonder how he would have done if he succeeded Dawson instead of Morey (who has been very good himself)
haven't been paying much attention to them other than the odd donnovan mitchel highlight so I assume that comment is really about him being a great find at 13, but is exum not a bust anymore?
This is one opinion from a player.... http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...o-play-in-utah-after-jazz-lose-gordon-hayward
Not only that, but he let Millsap go to tank for that pick. Probably would have been better off just keeping him (as they had just drafted Gobert).
IIRC - I think we (more or less) "traded" Lindsey to the Spurs (and one of DD's boys) for Scola. Anyways, he was never in-line to succeed Morey, because Morey traded his ass, lulz.
He also just gifted a 1st rounder to get Rubio, traded a 1st for Hill and lost him for nothing, high chance he's going to lose Favors like he lost Millsap too so...yeah. I still think he did a good job overall, but everyone makes mistakes.
I bet Dennis and Daryl swap suggestions for the best buffets across the country. Daryl strikes me as a Chinese buffet kind of guy. I bet he has gotten sick on sushi at a buffet. Dennis strikes me as a Ryan's Steak House guy or perhaps he loves the Hartz Chicken Buffet when he is in Houston.
Losing those players isn't really on him , its on the location .... WhoTF wants to be in Salt Lake City Utah , especially young men ? He's got to pay for talent one way or another and trades give him some short term leverage.
