I would agree they are a waste in that NOBODY has been held to account yet.

Do you know why no help was sent to those people who were under attack for hours? You can't say they couldn't get there in time...you have to try.

And none of them were criminal investigations. Notice how the Russian conclusion case is deemed by the FBI as worthy enough time for a criminal investigation.

It's a pretty confident sign that 8 investigations in the span of four years from a partisan Congress(anyone seriously going to debate this premise) with no intent of criminal investigation is probably a sign of partisan witch hunt.

I still don't know what Hillary did wrong in context to Benghazi.

Well, for one either her (or someone on her staff) ignored the recommendations of EVERYONE on the ground in Libya for better security...including from the ambassador himself. That fact is pretty obvious.

Either she made the call, or hired someone who did. And people are dead because of that.

    Nobody does.

Let me note, I don't like Hillary, I don't trust her, and I wasn't wowed by her winning the primary. With that said, I still have yet to see a decent case against her here.

As for the Donald, the case doesn't seem built yet, but we definitely see motive and means for one now.

Laughable that the words impartial and Gowdy are being used in the same thread. The Gowdy that just was found to have paid $150,000 taxpayer money to settle a wrongful termination suit with an ex-Bengazi aide? The one who said (about congressional investigations like Bengahzi:

It's not really as cut and dry as all of that. First of all, there is zero evidence that Clinton herself ever had a single notice about more security forces. Secondly, both parties in Congress denied funding for more security. Thirdly, some of the requests for more security were actually granted.

I would trust that if anyone was going to find wrongdoing by Hillary or the White House at the time it would be the merry band of Republicans who were foaming at the mouth trying to find anything to implicate her or Obama, instead they came up with nothing after years of investigating and millions of taxpayer dollars. It was a tragedy exploited as a political tool by Republicans who tried to use it during two different presidential elections as fodder against their opponents. Sometimes, terrible things happen and you have to find out where you went wrong, fix it to the best of your ability and move on.

Lack of adequate security and responsiveness at a US embassy. (Though the specific attack doesn't rank in the top embassy tragedies which all received, collectively, less scrutiny that B-ghazi. Hmmm.)

Slashed spending on embassy security under Tillerson. :D

I don't like having to outright call people liars, but this is a lie. No one at all would be on board with that and they shouldn't be on board with it. When you feel the need to lie in order to not have to concede the point, you've just conceded the point.

If they were raped, burgled, or assaulted by someone, then they shouldn't be prosecuting them due to the conflict of interest. If one of their friends or family members were raped, burgled, or assaulted by someone, they shouldn't be prosecuting them due to the conflict of interest. That's just how it goes.

The same goes for investigations. You don't see law enforcement officers investigating crimes that happen to them personally or to friends and family members for the same reason. There is an inherent bias present which will taint the entire investigation if they proceed. I mean, a lawyer used the fact that Mark Fuhrman said a word once upon a time as a reason to completely taint the OJ Simpson investigation and as such OJ got away with murder....you don't think that if one of the detectives on the case was related to or friends with Nicole Simpson or Ron Goldman that wouldn't have been used as a reason to cast doubt on the investigation? If you do, you're only fooling yourself.

Call me what you want, I would call you sophomoric. You can believe what you want to, but Mueller also has a history of success that shouldn't be overlooked because of who he is friends with.

It's funny that you bring up Mark Furhman, because again the evidence against him wasn't just the n word. It was him saying that investigators should plant evidence and lie in order to get convictions. The n word was sensationalized no doubt, but Simpson's whole case was predicated on this being a police frame job. Mark Furhman lost that case for the prosecution because he said to do exactly what the defense team said that happened to O.J.. Do you have tapes of Mueller saying he believes in lying to bring Trump down? I'll wait for them.

Then we need to call in prosecutors from Mexico. Eliminate all bias!

No, better yet, we need to find a baby, raise it in the most agnostic environment possible, teach it law, make it pass the bar, then get the investigation going. Mr. Trump, wait here for like 20/30 years, we'll be back...

    Correct

Only the ones who have a numerous chargeable offenses, including attempted kidnapping, who also happen to have valuable information to charge a higher up.

Lying to the FBI is nothing more than vehicle to facilitate the investigation further.
