    The argument can work both ways. Who have the Celtics, Warriors, and Spurs played? They've all played the same teams that the Rockets have played and the Rockets have a higher point differential. Just do it and not say you're gonna do it. Nobody cares if you're on the pot.

    Alright, @seeingredtx

    Here it comes for you.

    Let me preface for you; I appreciate your enthusiasm, I'm not trying to take this personally against you. I'm not trying to be combative, I'm simply trying to show the flaw with numbers and analysis. And yes, I do appreciate them. And yes you're right, for an ivy league graduate with a degree in Applied Mathematics, I find them very useful. However, context is important.

    Ok, all what you stated here is directly correlated to my main original points;

    1) Who were our opponents?
    2) Were the other teams that we find as direct competition to us(let's say Cleveland, Boston, OKC, SA, and GSW is that fair), have any injury issues that would cause a lapse in any of these numbers?
    3) Were the other competitive teams facing any stronger of a schedule and/or on another?

    You got to remember, first and foremost, #1 in the league means relative to the other 29 teams. So if the other 29 teams are impacted by points 1-3, this will cause a dramatic change.

    To address #1, you stated this:

    @GS W 122-121 Y
    Wed 18 @SAC W 105-100 N
    Sat 21 DAL W 107-91 N
    Mon 23 MEM L 98-90 Y
    Wed 25 @PHI W 105-104 Y
    Fri 27 @CHA W 109-93 N
    Sat 28 @MEM L 103-89 Y
    Mon 30 PHI L 115-107 Y
    Wed 1@NYW 119-97 N
    Fri 3@ATLW 119-104 N
    Sun 5UTAHW 137-110 N
    Thu 9CLEW 117-113 Y
    Sat 11MEMW 111-96 N
    Sun 12@INDW 118-95 N
    Tue 14TORL 129-113 N
    Thu 16@PHXW 142-116 N
    Sat 18@MEMW 105-83 N
    Wed 22DENW 125-95 Y
    Sat 25NYW 117-102 N
    Mon 27BKNW 117-103 N
    Wed 29INDW 118-97 N

    As the teams we faced, just a rough estimate I put Y or N next to the team to decide whether or not they're expected playoff teams. If we really wanted to divulge, let's know their records from last season, prior to playing them, and what they are on pace for a slightly more accurate depiction of the quality of the competition. I know for most of them we didn't have Paul, so you have to re-adjust to that.

    * To be fair with Memphis, I put 2 yes and 2 no's. Cause we need to see.

    To address #1 indicatively, of the 21 games played, FOURTEEN ARE AGAINST NON-PLAYOFF TEAMS. That's 2/3rds, that's 66.7%. So 66.7% of our games(with the healthy duo), are against NON-PLAYOFF TEAMS.

    If you want to really divulge in #1 properly, I suggest you go check the similar 21 dates(of games worth) against Cleveland, Boston, OKC, SA, and GSW and see how many were aginst NON-PLAYOFF TEAMS. You stated we were #2 in SOS.

    In regards to point #1, this is very surface level stuff we could go way more in depth. I hope you agree that the quality level of our opponents has a direct correlation to our offensive numbers. Do you?

    Now let's focus on point #2, have any injuries come about in that scale of time vs. games;

    1) Boston is without Hayward for the WHOLE season. We won't even COUNT that in, our direct competiton teams. It's a sunken cost, no point of factoring in the equation. But if you do NOT factor it, can you suggest Boston would be better?

    2) I believe Kyrie and Al Horford have missed games. Do you consider these two, two of the top 3-4 healthy players for Boston, if so, do you believe that if they would've been healthy for every game played(while CP3 has been playing) that their offensive production would be better?

    3) I believe KD and Draymond have been out for games. Is this correct? (I don't follow GSW much, but I think this is true). Do you think the Warriors WITHOUT KD and/or Draymond would have less and/or suppressed offensive numbers?

    4) San Antonio has been without Kawhi and Tony the entire season. We WILL factor this into the equation, because guess what? Parker is back and Kawhi is at his final stages. This will DIRECTLY impact San Antonio's offensive production. Do you agree?

    In regards to CLE and OKC, nothing. This is them. No argument here.

    So do you agree, that three of the five teams we consider direct competition for being the top offensive team(or overall team, really) have not been able to display their full offensive capabilities while we've had CP3 playing for us in that respective span of games(not talking about overall season, strictly in the timeframe/gameframe CP3 has played with the Rockets)?

    Let's go to point #3, strength of schedule.

    You specifically stated the Rockets have had the 2nd softest SOS. Do you agree?

    So I gave you all factors. If you tell me injuries are apart of the game, I'd agree. If you tell me, that in this 21-game span, that it's a large enough sample size and/or parallel to our opponent's health level and production, I'd disagree.

    In conclusion, let's go over the facts;

    1) We've had the 2nd weakest SOS. I can break this down VERY HARD if you prompt me to.
    2) We've had 14 non-playoff caliber opponent worthy games(of 21). So, 66.7% of our games are sub-par competition.
    3) Three of the other top 5 teams have had MULTIPLE injuries DURING this span.
    4) Sample size(with Paul) and overall season(21 games in) are not a good test(25% of the season).
    5) IDK even know WTF are the top offensive teams(I know we're trying to stick to just Top O teams), but apply this logic to them, too.

    Do you see WHY I'm saying this is bullshit to say we're #1 and record-setting? Do you not see any variables in what I put out there that would skew us?

    Do you get why blanketed projections/rankings/stats are extremely vague(yes, even PT Diff is)?

    Quiet, fool. I put you on blast in that game thread awhile ago and now you're all trying to fight me and stuff. You got nothing, chubby.

    Say **** to my face and bring your wife while you do, or keep it shut. Simple, put up or shutup. I'd meet you(with your wife).

    Bro, straight up. Don't talk to me, unless it's in person and with your wife present. I'll make you regret talking to me.

    IF you had a woman, I bet I could buy her from you, cause she probably is sellable if she with you. Not that I would, I just could. But I would at least just take her from you just to see you cry and look stupid. Also, the quality of women I talk to, you could only imagine to ever have a conversation with, never to be with. And if you are talking about fighting, bruh I don't do that. We live in 2017, I'm trying to stay handsome. I rather just let my goons take care of it, or well, you know the other options. :)

    Peace out fam.

    Is this guy really trying to challenge me on the quality of girls I get?

    @Mathrocker @Pen15clubber you think this fella wants to do a challenge with me?

    Anyways brah, just get out of here before I make you look bad and even dumber. And if I had a girl, I would sell her, you're right. I don't want to be in a relationship. I rather just date and go out at my own doing. But if you're so tough and ****, let's do this. Let's meet and bring your wife, you down?

    These stats mean nothing because we all know that with the Rockets the fourth quarter is garbage time which skews our stats. Please work this out for 3 quarters and then it will mean something. Thank you in advance.
