obama played nice with a republican party whose far right members refused to acknowledge his legitimacy and who overall refused to even work with him for many years. yea, played nice with those guys and brought in corporate slave scum into the fcc who later was promoted by an idiot who thinks the internet is a 120 characters only. Facking weak bro... If you WIN than assert yourself. If you know you're right, then you're right and don't bend like a weak b****. it's one of the things i liked about bush and even trump. i disagreed with many of their positions but they thought they were right and they didn't waiver. as soon as you waiver you get exposed and it's over.

I think you've got some biases and misperceptions here. Democrats today generally represent the poor to middle class and overall urban voters. Republicans rep the rich as well as suburban / rural voters and evangelicals. Both parties cater to corporate interests, but it's clear the Republicans do that to a far greater degree.

Now, I think you need to explain what these evil policies of Democrats are vs. the great policies of Trump. Because his policies are sickening - cutting taxes for the rich and ballooning the deficit? Taking health care away from people? Encouraging discrimination? Selling American interests to foreign powers? That's what you prefer to Clinton?

Comcast and Verizon spent the most on one specific single candidate. My earlier links have the factual numbers. That candidate was Clinton. You think they spent that money for ***** and giggle. C'mon bro you're smarter than that.

Trump's tax cuts are not law and yet we've had billion dollar profitable companies pay $0 in corporate taxes over the last decade. Tell me please, how does one pay more than $0 in taxes. I guess a refund or federal subsidy. So can it be said Obama represents Corporate interests over the people?

    https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/09/business/economy/corporate-tax-report.html

Honestly the entire raise and lower fit taxes argument is so tired. if corporations were taxed fairly then you might not even need to tax citizens at all. but instead you want me to argue about raising and lower taxes, dividing people up for a few hundred or thousand dollars, meanwhile billion dollar corps with billion dollar profits don't pay jack ****. fack that bro.

the honest politicians who were not afraid to call out the real problems never came close to winning. i'm talking about perot, paul, sanders, and a few others who were even further than not even close. oligarchy won't ever let it happen.

Clinton was seen as increasing broadband regulation so it would make sense that Comcast and Verizon would donate more A) they expected her to win and B) wanted to curry favor

Other than that I am not sure what your point is that makes her evil for accepting campaign donations from these companies.

Obama and dems did not change the tax code so how are they responsible for how much corporations pay in taxes?

How does that relate to Clinton being evil and supporting Trump for wanting corporate tax cuts?

They didn't win so you don't know how much influence from corporations they would have had on them...and Sanders wasn't going to get anything done.

Well second you should admit that there are people here smarter than you in different aspects (and also me of course) and you would be wasting time if you think otherwise. The point of posting in an environment like this is to learn other people’s point of view, also to let other people know yours.

Trump should not have re-Tweeted those videos. He does not know enough about the political party that woman is affiliated with to make such an apparent endorsement.

These are the kind of video he needs to re-Tweet.

Trump needs to be himself. Last thing we needs is more two-faced politicians. Be real so everyone else can be real too.

No, Heads of States need not be theologians criticizing religion. It's not in his purview.

Scaring average citizens who have no avenue to resolve the conflict about a religious group is only intended to rile up a specific base's excitement. It serves no pragmatic purpose besides creating hate and divide.

I've never endorsed our heads of States being edge lord atheists making fun of Christianity or Islam. When they have millions of law abiding citizens that claim these faiths, you don't alienate them.

Like how he endorsed stricter gun regulations before campaigning and is now sucking the NRA's D, not saying a word after all these mass shootings?

Can't believe some of you still can't see through Trump's bs. The guy flip-flopped on literally every issue as soon as he campaigned and got paid off by corporations.

reminder... this is the United States closest ally (though some would argue Trump's closest ally is Russia)...

I'm not seeing through it and glad no one else is either. And yes he has flipped flopped on a lot of things but to his credit, hasn't on others which in some cases has emboldened "racists" apparently. I think that's great. But I'm surprised you're surprised about a political candidate flip flopping after they win. They ALL do it every damn time so why are you so surprised? Go check Obama's broken promise list, I'm afraid you might go into shock based on your reaction to politicians flip flopping like it's some shocking revelation.

I'm not surprised at all, my comment was based on you somehow thinking he's an honest or real person.

His whole campaign and presidency are based on complete bs, yet you all the time say how Trump is refreshing and real.

Feel like you still don't understand my point.

You said "Last thing we needs is more two-faced politicians. Be real so everyone else can be real too.", which is completely the opposite of Trump. You're kinda contradicting yourself with your comments.

LOL... Fox news Tucker Carlson defends trump's retweeting of faked British extreme right wing videos and describes criticisms as an attack on free speech...
