Seriously, for this statement alone, "I don't agree with Trump's actions but I like him doing them." Honestly, it may be one of the stupidest statements ever uttered on Clutch Fans over the past 13 years.

Trump, the man who has repeated called out news outlets for being "fake", retweets an obvious fake video to push his narrative.

 

Trump has official declared himself a white nationalist.

He is now an enemy of all minorities. He must be impeached.

 

it's a tweet, get a grip. causes very little harm (tweet itself) but the ridiculousness of it is great. amazing you can't see that. you all acting like the tweet killed somebody or some ****. give me a break, it did nothing but make him look like an idiot and cause stirring which is great.

-edit- btw... just to prove my point i hadn't even seen or heard about trump re-tweeting these UNTIL.... i heard the backlash. that's when i heard what he did and that's great. backlash was 100x more exposed than the event itself. sounds like a win-win!

ya you're right - the open courting of white supremacists, neo-nazis, anti-islamists and other like-minded folk has had no real world impact... outside of the astronomical increase in hate crimes, violent rhetoric and emboldened hate-mongers who openly espouse that trump is one of them. but you're right, our president "causing a stir" and rattling some lefties sure is cool!

it's like you've confused president of the united states of america with the president of your fraternity... i know this may be a surprise to you but the POTUS actually holds a tad bit of sway on a national.... nay, global scale. heck, some would even consider it the single most influential position in the entire world. sure it's a little entertaining until you realize that this guy is literally the face of this country, guides policies both domestic and foreign, can (and has) made massive cuts to education, research, healthcare and welfare programs (almost entirely effecting the less fortunate, mind you, while proposing massive tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy - which i'm sure as a self-proclaimed bernie fan you must loathe, right?), will oversee the appointment of more federal judges than any president in 40 years, has at the very least been complicit and has certainly surrounded himself with folks heavily tied to russian agents who have openly attempted to undermine our elections, hasn't been able to push through one piece of legislation even though his party controls BOTH houses of congress, has openly derided our free press, is a pathological liar with textbook megalomaniac tendencies and oh ya.... is the commander in chief of our entire military with the ability to launch nuclear weapons.

but ya, other than that he's a total gas.... can't wait to see what he does next!

 

you're damn right i'm right. it's great when people go public with their true feelings. much rather know what people stand for, believe in, and who they are then have them hiding their beliefs and views privately, not being able to know who I live next to, who I work with, etc... loud and proud, all of you regardless of what your belief is. also having world leaders call each other out, having a troll president, having folks energized and emboldened (the reactions much bigger than incidents) to speak their minds, all of that is different and a good thing imo.

screw the status quo, screw the quiet racists and bigots, screw the dangerous but silent women predators, no more hiding. everyone come on out and expose yourself and what you believe in. it's much better if we all know where we all stand. then humanity might actually understand each other and make progress or at least know you can't so certain segments of humanity can move on from each other.

also, don't be so dramatic about the troll and the nukes. nothing is gonna happen and even if it does we (humanity) are not owed anything. we don't have a right to exist, we just do, and one of these days we might not. so calm down, it won't be the end of the world just the end of us.

 

Uhhh dude. I don’t think he was referring to only the tweet this thread is about. He was focused on Trump as a whole. It’s quite the important distinction.

 

He's just making a bullshit excuse for bad behavior. His point is that having someone like Trump is great b/c, in some twisted way, by Trump being an out-in-the-open ass, this will expose bad behavior and get people more engaged, etc. Utter crap.

Having an ******* in a given situation doesn't make it better that the ******* is there. Unless you're weak. Everyone's sitting in a bar, and we're all talking, and maybe even debating about things- respectfully, of course. And then you have the obnoxious ******* who comes in and starts saying outlandish **** just to get a rise out of everyone- or b/c he's just an *******. That doesn't make the situation better. What would make the situation better is if the ******* just shut his yap, period- or left.
