Gallo is an inverse of Paul Milsap in terms of team impact (same WS/ WS/48 last year). One problem, he's made of glass.
Houston, Philly, and Boston are all way better destinations than LA it wouldn’t surprise me at all if PG’s camp persuaded him to give up on trying to put on a cape and save the Lakers and go somewhere where he can actually win and have a chance to make the finals
Cleveland should look into trading Thompson and the Brooklyn pick for PG. Maybe a run at the finals will convince PG to re-sign and give LeBron enough motivation to stay.
Yeah and to be in Kobe's shadow? Ain't happening. A. They suck B. They suck. Lebron's twilight years are going to be on a team that is STACKKKKKKKKED, even If he has to take less money.
will see what happens when playoff come. But MELO seems to be the problem Think Westbrook and PG are a good fit, but MELO talking 15-20 shots a game messes things up
Will they make the playoffs? Not at this rate. Everyone is talking about trading Melo or PG... But I wonder if you are Presti...you realize Westbrook isn't going to work with other star players...what is the point? Is trading him a crazy idea? I don't think so. You can get a king's ransom for him right now. Tank. And end up probably with two top 5 picks in the draft and rebuild quickly here.
The only issue with trading away Westbrick is that it's not like Melo or PG are going to stay so you'd be effectively committing to the tank long term....and that would lead to both the coach and GM getting fired.
That's true, but you know as well as I... They aren't winning with Westbrook. Not a championship. They will be a solid team if they build around him and give him nothing but 3 and D guys and some pnr Bigs...but since he's completely incapable of playing with other star players it sort of caps off how good they ever will be. I guess the only other option is to get a coach in there that can control his wild play but good luck with that. Personally, I'd trade the guy. It's true it could get the GM and coach fired (Billy D is going to be fired soon anyways I bet) but it's best for the Franchise. Let someone else deal with him.
Yeah and it was Oladipo, Sabonis, and Kanter that were "messing the team up" last season as well. Let's call a spade a spade. Westbrook is wholly incapable of playing next to a ball dominant player. Melo will probably get traded somewhere and THRIVE. PG if he leaves will THRIVE next season. Westbrook if everyone leaves again and he's the only player allowed to dominate the ball, will once again thrive.
