What's happening people, another easy win. We just need to beat Pacers so it would mean we would have lost only one game in the month of November. (I hope I don't have jinxing powers) CP3 with 14 assists and 0 turnovers. Mad! Anyways enjoy the video guys! Peace!
thx for pointing out the post-game interview. At least it was also acknowledged by Harden and Paul. "Yeah, you know a win is a win and that's good," D'Antoni said. "I just didn't think that we played well defensively, especially in the first half, the second quarter especially. You can just see some of the energy went out. You know, it ticks me off a little bit, but we did a pretty good job. It's a long season. They feel like at certain times, they can win no matter what. 'OK, let's win.' So I'm not worried about that. We just have to improve some things. 'I'm going to play well all the time,' that's utopia. That's not possible. I just cry around and moan around for a while. I'll get over it." "We had a really good first quarter. The second quarter, we kind of slipped up," said Harden, who matched the NBA season high with eight 3-pointers. "They kind of went zone a little bit and then we finished it off the right way. It's not going to be perfect every game." "We've got to keep building and playing better, especially defensively," said Paul, who has 65 assists with 13 steals and seven turnovers in his five games since his return. "We had some bad stretches there and we can't always just rely on our offense, but we'll take the win. Right now, we're just trying to pile wins."
all fingers seem to point at Harden for taking a nap defensively. No more he's too tired because of pg duties. Enough excuses.
Everyone was getting dominated in the second quarter last night, Harden certainly didn't stand out to me as being the only or main culprit. There is a soft spot in the interior sometimes. Clint capela does not have that much "sand in his pants" he has certain defensive strengths because of his build in his athletic ability but it's a trade-off
Really odd to hear him say that about the defensive intensity. I'm surprised he didn't throw Bzediliksksk under the bus.
Dantoni is a bit of a b**** . If you want defensive intensity how about not playing harden in the 4th when you're up 20 ... It pissed me off immensely .... We are up 20 with 3 minutes to go and a timeout gets called . He doesn't put in the garbage crew , instead he has the starters are out there and we have to wait another 1:30 until Cp3 fouls to get the garbage squad on the floor . If a good player gets hurt out there when we are up big , in my opinion , that's a fireable offense!
this when will this guy ever learn you can only bring 48 minutes of intensity by utilizing your whole roster does Pops and Kerr need to have a sit down talk with him? very possible Morey agrees with MDA too thats why he's been giving him a pass
There is no way Morey agrees on this. However , with Paul being hurt and other circumstances ... No one is sweating the extra minutes this early into the season. However , if we keep blowing teams out and James is still averaging 35+ minutes then that's a problem. I get playing him 35 everyone once in a blowout becuase you want to keep him in shape ... But dantoni doesn't have a quick enough trigger for my liking . Harden definitely goes easier in garbage time and THATS when you get hurt ... You set a lazy box out and some scrub barrels into you trying to show hustle etc ...

I'm glad that the offensive minded MDA is buying into defense. He needs to get on the guys when they start slacking.
If he is only going to play guys that he trusts then honestly we need 1-2 more guys he trusts. Wish we had a jameer type to replace the garbage mamba
ROCKETS' RUN AND GUN RAISES THE BAR -- AGAIN The Rockets' and Nets' 89 combined 3-point attempts in Monday's meeting set the record for most such attempts in a game in NBA history. The previous record, 88, was done four times last year – all involving the Rockets. (ESPN Stats & Info)
I know I was just saying we need to get a couple guys especially bc who knows how many injuries could pop up. Hopefully some buyout candidates or something pop up at some point
