SAS clearly had his pride hurt by singing hardens praises all last year only to have westbrook win mvp. He saw the media wind was blowing in westbrooks direction in the end so he flip flopped.

He then has his pride hurt by picking rockets to beat spurs and seeing how harden was in game 6.

All media members are frontrunners. They will all come around if we continue to prove it. SAS has seen enough to not go down with OKCs sinking ship

He would also have 2 assists per game and a record barely over .500. :p

He's not a "chucker" like Kobe, but he's also not an assassin like Kobe was either. Just my opinion.

That's so disrespectful. Harden is a hell of a lot better than Kobe.

Kobe was so overrated because he played in LA. Harden is better.

Harden is a better player than Kobe Bryant.

Harden is the heir apparent to Jordan, Kobe was just a placeholder till Harden arrived.

So people try to say Harden is better than Kobe why? Sounds like insecurity to me and no, Harden is not better.

Kobe was an inefficient chucker, the most efficient season of Kobe's career as measured by eFG% and TS% would only be better than James Harden's rookie season. The best season of Kobe Bryant's career as measured by WS/48 has been topped by James Harden 5 times already.

If you want a Kobe comparison it's Westbrick, not Harden. Harden is on a much higher level than Kobe ever could have hoped to reach.

I love harden as much as anyone but lets at least wait for harden to win a chip before we argue for harden as a better player than kobe bryant lmao.

(Not that I disagree with the current pro harden arguments. In fact I do but its just premature)

I would argue that Lebron was the heir to Jordan and Harden is the heir to Lebron.

I love Harden more than anyone but until he gets atleast 1 ship with a FMVP he will not be respected.

Kobe has 5 rings, tbf he was the 2nd best player behind Shaq for 3 of those and he didn't face the Warriors, but still.

Harden NEEDS Rings to be better than Kobe and be considered all-time great in the basketball world - as sad as it is.

Why we do care about Stephen A Smith?
He's just saying crap to get paid, I don't even know if he's being honest.

Barkley and Kenny were millionaires before they joined TNT, they say what's on their mind.

It's not a yell outrageous stuff to get paid and get ratings like Stephen A.

    But you guys love ESPN.

Harden is absolutely better than Kobe Bryant, and frankly it's not very close.

Way more efficient on similar volume
    Better passer
    Better rebounder
    Better 3pt shooter
    Draws more fouls
    Better free throw shooter
    Much higher basketball IQ
    Led much more potent offenses
All on less usage with less supporting talent

Kobe was less turnover prone and was a better defender, although not nearly as good a defender as he was hyped.

The myth of Kobe Bryant is a strange one.
