    I hold the Navajo Code Talkers in the highest regard. I am studying their history as part of a novel I am writing. They are an overlooked yet vital part of our history, and they deserve to be treated with the utmost respect, not made to feel embarrassed because an infantile (and I apologize to all infants for slighting you) FakePresident holds a ridiculous grudge.

    I agree that his joke was tasteless but we need to set our priority straight. Call out all wrongdoing not just focus on Trump. Partisan politics is cancer and the left has become that under Trump.

    In this case Trump WAS the wrong doer. He was speaking as President of the United States to native Navajos. He showed incredible ignorance. He made a joke to advance his own agenda, to a group of people that saw their ancestors exploited, forcefully removed from their families and ultimately were victims of genocide.... at the hands of the US government. In the year 2017, the President of the USA made light of the situation. That goes beyond "tasteless", it is extremely offensive and shows that he has no appreciation of Navajo culture or history.

    He no longer represents just himself, he represents the United States. He needs to learn how when to shut the hell up.
