It’s not even a question now whether he will lie about national or foreign policy. He’s openly lying about tax reform as we speak. He lied about health care all the time. The big question is how many suckers are there in this country? Outside of this country though there are less suckers because they come into relationships with the US skeptical to begin with. Buried in the reporting this weekend was a call transcript where Trump openly tells someone on a foreign call that he tells out military industry to delay production to allies because he doesn’t know if they will flip on the US at any point in time. I mean do Trump fans really want our country to be isolated like North Korea? Because how are our key allies supposed to deal with this maniac? How are we as a country supposed to be trusted anymore with two scoops at the helm? The question of “will he lie about big things” is an easy one to answer .... yes of course he has and he will. No doubt about it. But we still have 30 to 40% of people in this country who don’t care or are too dumb to know they are being sold a rump roast they think is a Trump steak.
It's true that trump is all that and it's true that we trump supporters don't care... Thus, dead horse is right to these folks. Speak about them loudly.
From my experience, people that bully are so consumed by their own insecurities that it gives them power to put down others. Personally, I think Trump is a horrible person. There's always been rumours about him in NYC for years... it wasn't a big secret that he was a petty, belittling womanizer who had a massively over-inflated view of himself. This carried into the Apprentice- go ask numerous people who worked with him and their stories about him verbally abusing his own kids at extreme levels. None of this is surprising. And as unfair as the media can be, Trump's true fear of the media is them exposing him for the person he actually is. Read Steve Kerr's comments about why he didn't want to visit the White House. Repubs and conservs don't get that it has nothing to do with politics. It all has to do with Trump being an ass. Kerr's visited the White House and met Reagan, the Bushes, etc. He had no problem at all with that. So, yes, I am extremely thankful for the media being vigilant.
