Jokes aside OKC has the tools to give the Warriors trouble, they're long and athletic, George can guard Durant like maybe only Kawhi does, Adams is perfect to annoy Draymond, Roberson on Curry or Klay...if they find ways to score they will always be a though match up for GS, like they've already show two years ago btw.
1 seed bro. Im extremely confident in the rockets right now. I dont view okc as a big threat to us for seeding or in a playoff series. Ill take any loss to the warriors as a positive thing for the rockets.
Agreed, the perfect path would be to have them somehow face the Warriors after or before the Warriors play a series against the Spurs lol
Lol it's like Gasol already saw it going in. Spoiler I wonder how much days will pass before he asks for a trade...
It doesn't surprise me at all. They just won the championship so the hunger is less. More importantly, it's not really possible to play playoff level high intensity basketball every game. At the same time, all their opponents will do so and take off instead against lesser opponents. Another thing to note is that the team stayed in NYC after the Nets game for various events and "hung out" before flying out to OKC. So that also explains their very lethargic and lackadaisical play throughout this game. It wouldn't surprise me if Kerr and the Warriors go the Cavaliers route and try to coast as much possible and conserve intensity for the playoffs instead.
