He's played badly everywhere else too though. I dunno. It'd be pretty hype if we signed him out of nowhere though. Go Sharks
We need one more guard that can actually play and shoot the 3, available for maybe ten minutes a game, so we can go three guards, Harden, Paul, Gordon for up to 15 minutes a game if needed. If Bobby Brown ain't it, we need to drop him and get a real player.
Really, Ugh....I told we should have gone after Jonathan Simmons in the off season Jonathan Simmons 17/18:.... Pts............Rbs.............ast..............FG%..........3P%...............FT%...salary...... ..............................................14.9...........3.1...............2.1.............51%...........40%................77%.....$6.3 mil
I'm happy with Tucker. Anyway, outside the box idea, but we do still hold Jon Diebler's draft rights. Career 49.1% 3PT shooter in Europe. 53.8% last season.
Although a backup to Paul with a decent 3/D game will be good for us, our team struggles on defense whenever any team moves the ball and executes plays. Our players need to look at film, and work harder on defense in practice. This will help us a great deal during the rest of the season. This is the main difference between the Spurs and us.
Covington has signed a 4 year contract with Philadelphia. Daniels won't be given away for free. Don't give up Zhou for him.
If the Jazz continue to lose games and start the tank process I would be interested in seeing if Joe Johnson could be had via trade or buyout
another dumb "can we add or trade for so and so" thread..... we're tied for 1st in the west, this aint no stock market.
I realize Covington was re-signed. Re-read what I said... Covington should have never been let go in the first place for an old broken down Francisco Garcia. I said that here at the time. Troy Daniels WAS given away for practically free several times since he left us. Most recently Memphis gave him away for free plus gave a pick away for the Suns to eat his contract.
You are correct. Management didn't have patience in Covington. He would been good in Houston now. Let's see if Troy is moved again cheaply, but I doubt it. His shooting would be valuable for us.
When Robert was moved my feelings were mixed, we needed quick results, but I thought he had talent. He would have developed more slowly in Houston than Philly, I admit. He is a SF and we did need a backup for Ariza. I'm happy with Luc, and Tucker is just awesome. Ariza is shooting nicely, so the SF position is covered right now. Let's hope, we will keep on getting better.
